I CHALLENGE YOU (today)

I challenge you!!!!

That’s RIGHT…I am challenging anyone who wants to play today! Pair your teas (today) with songs – if you can – and post a video along with them! Sort of like a word association type thing…does a tea remind you of a song? Why? Does it share the same name as your tea/song? Tell us! Or does the video go hand in hand with the tea some way? Be as creative or as random as you wish! I can’t wait to see who plays a long today!!!

Do this within your tea review – not necessarily here in this topic – I thought it might be FUN incase anyone wants to play along!!!

LOL fun idea! I am drinking a Keemun. It’s strong and a bit smoky, the caffiene makes it feel like it has a bit of an edge to it. so ‘smoke on the water’ by deep purple popped into my head. here is a video for the song (live version)

Great song! Thanks for playing along!

Well I just pulled out some old Dragonwell to make green tea chicken noodle soup, and then I saw this thred and thought what song goes with dragons, and then I remembered the band called Soup Dragons. Perfect!

Hopefully this pot of soup turns out to be a divine too! Here’s the recipe: http://steepster.com/discuss/14-cooking-w-tea?page=10#forum_post_21060

It was really good soup! I used 1lb chicken, 12 oz tea, reconstituted dried oyster mushrooms, soba noodles, and added a bit of garlic and some shredded carrots. I also had some crispy wonton strips on top of mine. The DH and I ate the whole pot (2.5 bowls each!) Hopefully it will help his cold and keep me from getting it.

wow… it sounds delicious!

I LOVE the Soup Dragons!!!

Last night was BBC News about Tuscan and Teavana’s Garden Aria, this time perfected with a pinch of hibiscus, two rose hips, and some Tangerine Bai Mu.
A.K.A. The Hungarian Suicide Song. Its original untranslated lyrics supposedly have causes people to commit suicide.

Edit: Holy craploads of spelling errors Batman! This frog needs more tea, stat! D=

My fave Bjork song is “It’s Oh So Quiet” :)

ok I’ll play again! :) This morning I’m drinking a second flush Darjeeling from TeaGschwendner. The first thing that popped into my head was something with a tabla, Jaan by Talvin Singh.
