Who has the best green tea?

I usually prefer teas like a lonjin or even something like a sencha. But maybe there is a place that carries them together or someone has a favorite green tea online that is easy to get.

Any tips would be great. Thank you all

I’m really partial to Teavivre, they have a great selection. They offer several different options for longjing—I’m partial to their Premium Dragon Well Long Jing Green Tea, but unfortunately they don’t offer sencha. But if you’re wanting to branch out a little and try other varieties of green tea they carry quite a few, so they’re definitely worth checking out.

I’d second Teavivre for Chinese greens!

Yes! Before I clicked on the thread, I was definitely going to suggest Teavivre.

Thank you guys! I’ve tried them before and was very satisfied

Yunomi is also a good option for green tea if you want tea from Japan. If you have it shipped by EMS you can expect to receive it about 48 hours after it is shipped. They are that fast. No shipper in China can match the EMS shipping from Japan although EMS from Taiwan comes close.

Green Tea is my favourite and I get my greens from a variety of places. Yunnan Sourcing has a huge selection at good prices. Verdant Tea has excellent Laoshan greens. There’s a great Shandong Rizhao green I get from the Alliexpress seller Han Xiang Ecological.
For Japanese greens Yunomi has been great. I tried Yuuki-Cha too and found it very good quality. I also get some greens from Tealyra when they have a few of the new spring teas in stock. They are pricey compared to Yunnan Sourcing but it’s in my country and they have a huge selection of other teas.

I don’t think anyone can claim “best” green tea, it really comes down to what you prefer. I second Yunnan sourcing for some good greens, and highly recommend Hojo Tea’s Hon Yama Hebizuka sencha simply because its my favorite sencha. Once you try it, I suspect you will not be able to go back to most other senchas because that was my experience.

Another good source is Tea Hong, he usually doesn’t stock very much inventory so it sells out fast, but I find it to be good for what I’ve tried.

We at Wooree Tea might be a little biased, but try some Korean Green Tea, very mild and not as bitter as other countries. www.wooree.co.nz

I buy a lot of the green tea I drink (that I don’t stock in my own store) from TeaTrekker and also from the oft mentioned Yunnan Sourcing. Seven Cups also has some delicious Chinese teas.

I have to say that TeaTrekker is the company that really furthered my education on tea because they carry a wide variety from multiple countries that is always high quality despite covering a myriad of different styles and also price points. I probably tried every green and black tea they offered as I zeroed in on the types of teas I love. There are some I love so much that I keep buying it from them because I haven’t yet found a reliable source of my own or it is not right for my business at this point. Their hand-made Tai Ping Hou Kui and their coverage of four different villages in the LongJing protected region are a couple of examples.

I second that opinion on Tea Trekker. I have not tried as many from them but I have liked what I got. They have good quality tea.

Den’s Tea was impressive quality in the past. They’ll be my go-to when I decide to restock on Greens, and they tend to carry things that other companies just don’t.

Seconding Den’s for nice Japanese greens that won’t break the bank.
