I’ll be putting up a sale soon…it’s 4:35 am and I’ve spent quite a bit of time getting all of the new stuff up and writing descriptions! :)

Since we’re less than 24 hours from 2017 here in Hong Kong…I’m offering 17% off sitewide from now through the 7th of January (no code needed). Now would be a great time to try my new teas or stock up on favorites!

Just added a surprisingly good high roast tieguanyin that is less than half the price of the Hong Kong-roasted tieguanyin! This tea is roasted in Fujian for one of Hong Kong’s oldest dealers, and is great value. I’m really very happy about discovering this tea as I feel it is worth more than its price!

Got interviewed by a postgrad journalism student about my Tea Life :)

If anyone’s wondering why I’m pouring around the edges of the pitcher, it’s just something I do with the rinse to remove any residual dust in the pitcher and to warm the pitcher before the first infusion!

Neat!! So glad it’s working out for you :)

Thank you! I’m still not in the black at the end of every month, but sales are up significantly. I really need help around here, but I have to find someone I trust to help me pack Wuyicha, since the leaves are so delicate and shouldn’t get crushed.

I had a sale over Chinese New Year and I’m still getting caught up! Packing tea takes hours and hours!

If I lived anywhere near Hong Kong I’d love to help, but sadly I’m in the states :(

Thanks! Got some interesting applications. Going to interview people this week!

I have regular sales (the business is still new and that really gets people in the door, so to speak) :) I have another sale running right now!

15% off sitewide from Monday, 8th May to Monday, 15th May (Hong Kong time). This means the sale starts and ends at 12:00pm EST on Sunday the 7th to Sunday the 14th! No code needed.

I’ve added some new Yixing teapots and several teas to the site. The 50% offer on Vietnamese greens still applies and can be stacked with the discount: just use code “Ziggy” at checkout!

First Anniversary Sale! June 1st marks the start of my second year in business. 18% off sitewide until June 2nd (inclusive)! No code needed. Thanks to everyone who has bought from TeaLife in the last year!

The 50% offer on Vietnamese greens is still available with code “ziggy” and the code can be stacked with the 18% off discount!

Ill be looking forward to getting my order! Thanks again!

TeaLife.HK said

Thank you Ken! I will ship ASAP!

Has the 18% off expired? Trying to place an order but not seeing the discount.

TeaLife.HK said

Yes, the sale is now over! I have a lot of tea to ship! I’ll have another sale soon enough :) Thanks for the interest!

Sqt said

I must have misunderstood what you meant by “until June 2nd (inclusive)”. No worries.

TeaLife.HK said

Hmmm, it was supposed to be valid through June 2nd! You’re right. Thanks for pointing out that discrepancy. Let me reactivate the discount for another 24 hours. Someone from the UK just made the order without the code, so I’ll refund 18% back to her.

Let me check the system and see what happened there! It’s not even June 3rd here in Hong Kong yet!

EDIT: it appears I went a day early instead of a day late in the system. I should’ve set the end date for June 3rd since we’re 12-14 hours ahead of US time here!

i would love to try some of these but they are way out of my range. doh

Samples aren’t too expensive and are a great way to try out teas to see if they fit your needs. Samples are a lot of work to pack, but it helps people find the teas they want! I’m going to add more reasonably priced stuff (and fancier stuff) in the weeks and months to come!
