I keep changing my mind on what tea to brew first, but given how gorgeous the pot is, and that the leaves would be visible, I would have to choose something like Blooming Tiger or one of the other flower teas I have that are meant to be looked at, too! I have a collection of these balls of tea that “bloom” in the cup or pot but rarely use them because all my pots are opaque!

The first tea I would make is Gyokuro… must make high quality tea in a high quality teapot. :)

Actually, I would have to go with something in the set. Probably a white tea since I’ve never tried one before. I’ve had everything else, just never a good white tea.

Edit: I would have to try the white peony daisy from the set… http://www.earthboundtea.com/teas/ultimate-tea-sampler-set-1.html

I love that you’ve included my local distributor, Golden Moon Tea, in the prize pack.

I would make the Wuyi Great Red Robe from Pearl Fine Teas because I am an oolong fiend :). This is one very awesome contest.

If I won, I would brew a pot of Metropolitan Tea’s Spring Pouchong since it’s cold and snowy here and that tea always reminds of a day in spring, when the lilacs start to bloom and everything seems possible. The UTILITea kettle would provide the right temperature for the water and the tea pot would inspire those leaves to bloom.

I want to have that teapot’s babies. The first tea I would brew would be Adagio’s Red Bloom and take tons of photos of the beautiful tea in this beautiful pot.
