12 Teas of Christmas!
Christmas is coming and while you probably don’t want to be reminded of that so early – we need to get this thing rolling so that we know how much of each tea to blend! We need to get the Pre-orders in NO LATER than October 10th so that we have time to order inventory and supplies – and get those boxes out to you before December 14th when the countdown begins!
This year, we’re bringing back the 12 Teas of Christmas box! But we’re doing things just a little bit different! Instead of 11 reblends and 1 new tea that winds up being the tea of the week, here’s what the new and improved 12 Teas of Christmas box will include:
6 reblends that were voted on by the customers.
6 brand new teas – 1 will be a tea of the week in December, 4 will be new and available on the website as a special, limited time tea, and 1 will be an exclusive to the box blend! The exclusive tea may be available for purchase (depending upon remaining quantities) but will only be available to those who ordered the box.
Each sampler pouch will hold approximately 12g of tea and the contents of each pouch will be kept secret – we’ll be using scratcher labels to conceal the name of the tea until you scratch it off!

Because it’s important for me to keep the box purchase separate from the day-to-day sales, the pre-sales will be a separate purchase and you’ll be taken to paypal to complete your purchase. If you wish to order more than 1 box, please let me know and I’ll calculate the shipping for you for multiple boxes.
Even aside from this seeming a little spammy people might not be ready to hear about Christmas just yet.
It was posted in the “Tea Companies and Promotions” page – and as I mentioned above, because I’ll be blending 12 teas, I need to have time to do that as well as get the supplies so that people can receive their box before December 14th.
Got it. I didn’t mean it as an accusation, more as feedback that in early September the gut reaction to a “Christmas is coming…” intro might be “no it’s not.” I just re-read the post and didn’t really get the reference to timing included in it, besides the cross-reference to where that might occur in the link page, which I didn’t click on. If there is a critical time-dependency (for example, that orders need to be received no later than end of October) you might want to mention that as well. But then telling people they need to act in the next two months might be too long a time-frame for most attention spans. If this is asking for some feedback input I also didn’t get that, but it seems not to be.
The pre-order promotion ends on October 10th. I need the time to order the necessary inventory and supplies and then time to blend the tea and test it before it ships mid-November.
This gives me about 40 days to collect the pre-orders so that I can do everything else in a timely manner without over or under ordering inventory/supplies. That’s why I needed to get this rolling now.
Fortunately, the thread has “Christmas” in the title, so if you don’t want to hear “Christmas is coming,” well . . . you were warned. ;)
I really don’t think it’s spammy to post an update that some of us have actually been waiting for ever since the mystery-grab-bags sale (which had the stated purpose of clearing out inventory in order to make room for these very same Christmas teas).
I guess the link isn’t live yet? When I click it just said “Holiday Shopping!”, but there was no product or info.
Was the page blank except for the title “Holiday Shopping”? It shouldn’t be. If you scroll down, you’ll find the button where you can preorder the box.
No button for me. Just the title and then at the bottom of the page, the normal email subscription box, social media links, and page menus. I’ll try again in the morning from a different device. No worries.

I’m seriously considering ordering a box (in addition to some of the clearance teas…because I might as well). I’d be losing money NOT buying some extra samples, really. I’m saving on shipping! /poorjustification
Would you be able to give me a rough idea of what bases the 12 teas will be? How many will be caffeine free?
The majority of the box will be blacks and greens. There will be what I categorize as “other” bases – and by “other” I mean not black or green. There will be three “other” bases with the rest being an almost equal balance between black and green bases. Two of the “others” will be caffeine-free.
Is there a way I can get multiple pouches of the Peppermint Marshmallow… tea without having to keep going to the page and buying pouches individually?
