Will there be an iPad version released and if so will there be an additional charge?

We’re going to spend the next several weeks listening to feedback from our customers before we determine whether to create an iPad version. Stay tuned!

Thank you for your speedy response. I will wait to make my purchase until then. :-)

I just purchased this – really enjoying it so far. I think my weekend project may be entering all my teas into the app (all 150+ of them). That should keep me occupied for a while.

One question that I have about the app. Is there any way to get to tasting notes without having to wait for the timer to finish? If I am backlogging teas, I would like to be able to record my infusion time (3 minutes, for example) without having to wait 3 minutes for the timer to finish.

As of right now, there isn’t a way to skip the timer, although each tea has a “general notes” area to input permanent notes. In future updates we will have the option to skip the timer.

Hi Brandy, if you update your app, you’ll see that you now have the option to Skip Timer.

I am enjoying the app. I have a couple of questions – is it possible to delete a tea (for example, the Example Tea?). Also, it would be great if there were a way to quickly access the timer, for those times when you are on the run and don’t have time to enter a new tea.

Yes, just swipe to delete!

i have a bunch of tea apps that i play around with. so i wanted to give your app a shot.

The reason i use these apps are because i can ever remember how much tea to use and steep time. I add them in to the app and then i do not have to to worry about that anymore. I can just pick my tea and click steep (brew/timer/etc), the timer will just use my settings for that tea with entering any information.

When using your app, i could not find a place to do that. I would have to enter in my settings every time i want to make a cup tea. Am i doing something wrong?

Hi there, when the steep is done just press “Save” instead of “Back” and Tea will remember your brew settings for that tea.

thank you for the reply.

So if i have 10 teas and i want to add them to the app. i have to click brew and wait the couple minute for each tea? it would be nice if there was a place to save that in a different place.

Hi there. Tea keeps track of each tea for you, so you do need to enter them individually by pressing the “+” button in the upper right. Then you press the tea you want to drink and hit brew. Then it will save all of the settings for you.

I purchased this app the day it was featured in the iTunes Store (a few weeks ago). This is by and far the best tea “timer” app I’ve used, and I’ve used quite a few. The recent update fixed all the relatively minor quips I had. All that I would ask for to make this app perfect is for it to integrate with Steepster! It would also be nice if it was possible to change the chime, or at least have it vibrate while on silent mode.
