Cookies

Hello everyone!

Wondering if you can suggest some good cookies to have with green tea.

It would be best if you could make suggestions that are easily available in the U.S. grocery stores or asian markets.

Thanks!

For me, I always enjoy shortbread with my green tea. I love the buttery flavor it lends to the cup! Shortbread can be found at just about any grocery store. :)

Lately I’ve been eating gingersnaps with 52teas’ Rainforest Chai, and trefoils (the shortbread Girl Scout cookies) with Paris by Harney & Sons, which is like an Earl Grey but with a hint of vanilla.

@ Dborregoa We like to pair according to what green tea we drink! But it’s really up to taste…

If it’s something more with toasted barely like Genmaicha matcha… try something buttery or with white chocolate chips!

If it’s something more pungent and fresh like gyokuro try something that’s flaky and not so rich like palmeirs!

Awesome suggestions, especially the buttery ones, I agree with that post.

Thanks!
