What is your favorite type of white tea?

In the past few weeks I have found myself wanting to drink white tea more and more. I have only ever tried maybe 3-4 kinds of white tea. Currently I only have one kind of white tea, “BAI HAO YIN ZHEN”, a silver needle tea from Yunnan.

What white tea do you enjoy and would you recommend?

I do like a tea from Simpson and Vail called White Ambrosia. It’s very good. Their website is www.svtea.com. They have excellent service and high quality tea. Their tea may not quite be the quality of Whispering Pines but it is almost as high quality but nowhere near the price of Whispering Pines.

Im not sure where it came from area-wise but I like Bai Hao Yin Zhen which has been typically larger leafed & very fluffy, with greener colour rather than the smaller more yellower green type.

Of ones I know the area Fuding seems to have nice Silver needle when compared to others from same year.

This is just a limited observation though

I have tried the Fuding silver needle tea. I remember liking it a lot as well. Coincidentally I have ordered a sample of Fuding silver needle 2 weeks ago.

A Moonlight White (Yue Guang Bai from YS) what converted me over to the white tea side. Don’t skimp on the leafing and they will brew up nice and flavorful and last for many steeps.

I agree with this recommendation. It ages very nicely too, it becomes more like a black tea as it ages.
