Keeping flowering teas on the bottom of the pot

I have tried several different shapes and sizes of tea pots and have yet to be able to keep my flowering tea on the bottom of the pot like all the videos show. It always tips over onto its side or floats to the top. (I don’t generally care much for the taste of the flowering teas, but I am hosting a tea party on Saturday and the ladies would love to see one of them. )

Any suggestions?

it usually depends on the type of blooming tea. Some designs do better than others. You might just have a rebellious design!

you should try serving them in wine glasses! even if it floats to the top the shape of the large wine glass helps guide the flower so it blooms upright

I think the type may have been a factor. I hadn’t tried this brand before today and it stayed on the bottom nicely. And I had never thought about serving individual flowers in wine glasses! What a cool idea!
