Any teas similar to these two from Butiki Teas?

Before they closed, I tried their Plum Brandy Cheesecake (which I loved) and Black Lotus (which I really liked.) Is there anything similar available?

I’m sipping Butiki’s PTA right now. :D I never tried the Black Lotus but the Plum Brandy Cheesecake is pretty tough to beat. I’ve never found anything similar. I do like the plum flavor from 52Teas though (I tried it with Sparkle Pony). Maybe they will make another plum tea soon?

Butiki’s Black Lotus was one of my favorite teas ever.. I still have a couple ounces sealed away but I fear it may have gone stale despite my efforts =( Would love to find a replacement for that, as well as Taiwanese Wild Mountain Black… And also basically everything else they offered </3

I don’t have any recommendations for you, unfortunately, but I’m missing Butiki along with you! Has anyone found blends similar to Stacy’s Caramel Vanilla Assam or Hello Sweetie? Both of those had that amazing PTA base, and none of the similarly-flavored teas I’ve tried have come close. :(

Mourning Butiki with you all… nothing I’ve tried has come close to any of my favourites ): I do still have some I’m being very careful with but they’re starting to lose flavour. If anyone knows of anything even remotely like Maple Pecan Oolong (my favourite tea of all time) I will be forever grateful.

My Butiki stash is loosing it’s flavor too. So very sad.

Ugh I was wanting hope everyone lol

I’m glad I didn’t try more of the company now – less to mourn!

I can only imagine how good that Maple Pecan must have tasted

My samplers are gone so I’m trying to find something while I can still remember the tastes :)

Sorry!

’Tis better to have loved and lost/ than never to have loved at all, as they say…

True!

I don’t know about that one… I never trusted “them/they” from the beginning! LOL!

I despair of ever finding a true peer to my beloved Butiki, but the closest any other company I know of has come is A Quarter to Tea. The blends are creative and the flavors are good without being cloying or tasting artificial. There was even, briefly, a maple pecan oolong blend, but I missed it and it is now sold out.

Thank you so much!

I’m always happy to reblend anything as long as the quantity ordered is more than 4oz and I have the supplies on hand! :)

Lauren, I didn’t think you would see that comment! But I stand by it. 4oz is too much for me on my own. Anyone interested in going in on an order?

I can’t justify buying any more tea right now, but I might be interested in splitting an order in a couple months. I loved that maple pecan oolong so much!

I was eyeing them the other day, will give them a try. Just put in order for some samples.

Lauren, I hope you do put that as a regular – I wanted to find a maple tea anyway since my friend sent me some canadian tea bags of Maple. Would love to find a regular supply and try it.

I’ve heard that about A Quarter to Tea a few times, and got very excited about placing an order before I realised they don’t ship to the UK. Now I know about the Maple Pecan Oolong I’m even more sad! If they did, I would definitely have gone in on an order with you.

Nattie, message me with what you’re interested in and I can make you a quote. The biggest barring factor right now is the cost of shipping, so it gets done on a case by case basis right now.

Gah okay, thank you! This could put a huge dent in my no-buy.
