Traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony Job Opportunity

McHenry County College in Crystal Lake, Illinois (a far suburb of Chicago) is looking for someone to conduct a traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony for the Grand Re-Opening of our Contemplative Zen Garden.

The Opening is on April 21st from 2:30 to 5:00. We would like the Ceremony to start about 3:00 but we can be flexible with the time if needed.

We have a small budget but we are offering financial compensation for the service.

Would you or someone you know be interested in performing the ceremony? You can respond to this topic or you can contact Sandra Lang, Gallery Curator, at 815-455-8785 for more details and information.

Thanks in advance for helping me to get the word out!

If you are in the area and would like to attend you are welcome, the Zen Garden and Ceremony are open to the public.

I don’t know how to preform the ceremony but I would love to attend if at all possible.

Of course, it promises to be a lovely day and the Zen Garden is beautiful! McHenry County College is located at 8900 US Highway 14, Crystal Lake, IL 60012. The date and time information are listed above.

Thank you so much. I may just show up :-)
