Good to see you’re still sticking around these parts, Dodo! I was drinking Angry Tea Room’s Christmas tea and Bluebird’s Christmas Cake teas today. Now I’m sipping DF’s Pecan Pie rooibos while eating some chocolate cream pie which I have been dreaming of ALL YEAR. haha. Merry Christmas everyone!

Belated Merry Christmas! I got lovingly wrecked on White 2 Tea’s Tuhao as Fuck. Amazing….here’s what my world looked like around dawn, after I’d had countless steeps and grandpa’d the remains:

@nycoma I do sometimes cold brew, which can turn out awesome – but this was hot. I often do this after a session (or when I have to hit the road before the end of session) – dump all the leaves into a large jar and add boiling water. With some teas (often greens, sometimes blacks) I’ll start them this way, continually adding more hot water as the level drops halfway or so…Grandpa Style some call it. Bowl style maybe more traditional? :)
