Banana tea, I neeeeeeeed you

Yes, I know it’s crazy to be in love with Banana tea. But Frank’s Hot Buttered Banana Bread got its claws into me, and now I’m out, and I’m trying to find another source of good black banana tea. Frank is sold out of my crack. I’m heart broken. I should have bought all the packages as soon as I fell in love. Silly me.

So, calling all slightly eccentric tea lovers like myself. If you have a favourite banana black tea, please let me know! It seems there is a preponderance of banana rooibos, honeybush, etc. but not a lot of black teas. I must be really, really odd…

You could also contact Frank and ask him to reblend it. He does do special request reblends for customers at one-pound increments (of the teas that he has the supplies to reblend), but you’ll need to purchase that one-pound minimum, but it doesn’t sound like that would be too horrible for you to have a full pound of this tea on hand.

If we have enough people interested, I could reblend this one later this week. (I’m waiting on a shipment of Nilgiri that should get here Wednesday).

I’ll do up to a pound of this lovely stuff…it’s that good. If you’re reblending to stock some, you could set aside half a pound for me. But really, I’m at your mercy. You have the best teas going and you rock my cup.

I would buy some if it is available to the masses! ;) I would do a double (two regular sized pouches…)

Banana Dulce by Art of Tea (didn’t check site to see if they still have it) is surprisingly good, and I’m not a banana fan at all, but it’s an herbal.

I’ve had a sample of that for a while now from Meghann M and have been afraid to try it…Banana tea freaks me out, which is weird since i love hot banana muffins and bread

The chamomile is a nice balance. I liked it iced.

Hello, I just joined. I’m not sure how I can buy tea? Can I do it through this website? if not how can I buy this banana tea?

No, this is not a retailer site. It’s just a community to discuss and log tea that you’ve purchased elsewhere.

What tea are you interested in? There were a number mentioned in this thread. All you have to do is google the company to find their retail website.

I quite like Murchie’s Coconut Cream Banana Tea. The coconut isn’t too strong, just the right amount!
