A delightful quote ...
Never trust a man who, when left alone in a room with a tea cozy, doesn’t try it on. ~Billy Connolly
How about this one as I sit drinking tea in my classroom….
Tea is drunk to forget the din of the world. ~T’ien Yiheng
My favorite is still by Eleanor Roosevelt, ’a woman is like a tea bag the longer she steeps the stronger she gets".
I don’t know… there’s an awful lot of din in mine to overcome.
That’s not so bad, if it means drinking more tea. ;)
I bet my husband would try it on eventually. After all, he did the rubber chicken-head thing with surgical gloves on his head right after I gave birth to our first child. Come to think of it, he did it after the second child, too.
I am sure it was to releave all the stress and pains of childbirth HE experienced. No chicken-heads with my 4 kids, it was all “yes dear, how can I help you dear, etc…” for me. :)
