I’ve been wanting to try green rooibos, but can’t stand red unfortunately. :( Hopefully Frank will come up w/ a flavored green rooibos soon w/o red. Green Mayan Chocolate Rooibos chai maybe?

Jillian said

It’s made with honeybush, not rooibos, hon.

Cofftea said

Haha funny! I must have seen “African” and “bush” and just automatically mentally inserted “red” in there. My best friend calls rooibos African Red Bush. Are all red honeybushes roasted? I’m not a fan of roasty toasty teas.

Whoa Frank, just reading your discription of your week made me dizzy. I was hoping nothing serious was wrong, it’s not like you to be this late. Enjoy your weekend!

That’s a great memory, Frank. I was an avid watcher of both Keeping Up Appearances and As Time Goes By.

I am trying very hard to not purchase this. I have too much tea right now.

(expletive)!?!!?!!! I caved.

Frank, seriously… stop it. Next week, make one by which I WILL NOT BE tempted. Please.

Ha. Lucky for me he’s been brewing up caffeine filled teas which keep me from ordering them… although the Strawberry Zabaglione was awfully tempting. I’m actually about ready for another rooibos/honeybush or white.

I’m so doing another honeybush blend next week. I’m loving the honeybush so much, I’m thinking of launching a third brand that is just honeybush blends. Sorry, Anne. I’m afraid I’m just going to keep creating delicious blends. :)

@LiberTEAS I think you should just go ahead and subscribe. :)

Awesome. Can’t wait to see what it is. :)

Oh no. That might be really detrimental to my wallet. :) But seriously, that would rock!

I actually saw honeybush growing at the Point Defiance Zoo in Tacoma, WA this weekend.

You’ll find nothing but encouragement from me if you keep making honeybush blends. Pretty much everyone else seems to stick to blending red rooibos which I’m not fond of.

Hehehe. Check this out… Still under construction, but a sneak peak won’t hurt:

Monkey Fart? Love the name, but I’m sorry that I hate bananas in tea. I’ll be there on the next one though.

Eeek! After entering 52teas’ email contest religiously, and coming up #9 or #11 very often (back when it was #10 for the win), I WON THE RANDOM NUMBER CONTEST!

{{Hooray for the Improbability Drive controlling the Random Number Generator using the Brownian motion energy of a large cup of something that tastes almost, but not quite entirely unlike tea..}}

Anyway, SQUEE!!! Not that I need more tea, but this must be a karmic reward for gifting away a good bit of mine last week. :-) I already placed my (free) order, but I think I’ll wait until I drink & log it to say which one I chose…

Hint: I got one of the limited edition blends, since the pragmatist in me says I should take the opportunity to get one that may be gone later. It was my #1 choice tea anyway!

woot, congrats

Congrats! Exciting, isn’t it? I’m guessing you got one of the white tea blends too.

Yay for honeybush and the new dedicated website!!! :)

I didn’t get the new Lemonbushomile because I feel like I have to finish my Lemon Drop Cooler first. But I did jump on one of the last 3 Neopolitan’s! Can’t wait for that to arrive—seems so summery.

Next up on the list will be the Chocolate Malt Honeybush (love anything malty!) followed by Monkey Fart (yum on bananas but eww on the name ;) ).

I am sitting on my hands to NOT order right now. I have SO MANY teas that I’ve not tried yet. I need to at least try some of these unopened teas before I start buying more.

But the new website looks fantastic!!!

Oh, and Steph, the Neapolitan is yummy!

Yes, don’t order anything YET. Give it about four minutes until the new Steepster Select is posted.

Hey Frank… do you have a button that we can add to our Tea Companies Page on our SororiTEA Sisters blog?

&%^%!!! You could have WAITED for this, you know? But NO… you make me eat my words and now I’ve placed an order. tsk tsk…

Oh man. Frank! You are a bad influence on my wallet. I just ordered the Champagne & Strawberry Honeybush and the Cherry Cola Honeybush.

Before you ask… I will extend the Steepster Select offer to you including the order you submitted.

…Wait for it…. three minutes or so now…

Kristin said

Ha ha. Thanks, I appreciate it, but I don’t think I can spend another $16 on tea this week. :)

Kristin said

Ok ok, I’m caving. I see some I want on 52 teas and I’ll place an order and put a note in. See, you are a bad influence.

Kristin said

My other 2 teas ordered are on 52teas: Spiced Pear Bai Mu Dan and Pina Colada Honeybush. Really Really want that Root beer float as the freebie. :)

:) Thanks for your business!

Should I wait for another steepster select offer? Because… you know that I’m going to (EXPLETIVE) order this one, right?

Frank, seriously… you need to STOP it. Make something I don’t want next week, mmm-kay?

Cofftea said

I agree, but I’m going to try to use the fact that it isn’t Japanese sencha to keep me from buying this. Key word being try.

Request for the tea next week – Peanut Butter and Fire Ants flavored Pu-Erh. :)

I think our Chinese sencha is BETTER than Japanese. And LiberTEAS, are you saying you really wouldn’t order a tea with freeze dried fire ants? Mmmmmm.

Cofftea said

I probably would though Frank. Eh, I still prefer Japanese. I can’t explain why, I just do lol.

Frank… I was starting to feel neglected! haha!

The ULTIMATE fruit flavored iced tea, but I’m not sure I could give this a 100 since I am almost certain to be unable to distinguish each of the flavors. Wow Frank- You did it. A blend that just has too many flavors going on for me. I’ll pass- but I definitely applaud you. In this one case, my passing is a HUGE compliment!=D

You’re complimenting me by NOT buying my teas?

Umm… okay.

=)

Cofftea said

You’ve created a blend that is over the top for me- mom has coined my blends “kitchen sink” blends several times. And that is a HUGE feat and compliment. So yes… in a weird way, yes. :)
