We (briefly until hubby’s allergies nixed it) adopted a black/white tuxedo cat with white paws and called him Tippy (as in Tippy Yunnan).

Oh, I have a kitty named Tippy as well, but I didn’t realize there was a tea called that when we named her (she was named it because she tip-toes when she walks).

A dog w/ behavior problems could be named Pu Erh or Assam:) Chai would be a cute name too.

My dog’s official name is I-Chaya, named after Spock’s pet sehlat. I tend to call her Chai-Chai-French-Fry most of the time.

cute, awesome and nerdy…all at the same time. :)

I love the chai and the rhyming, but chai and french fries sound nasty together lol.:)

indeed, I’m not much of a french fry eater, but I do have a friend who likes to eat fries with ice cream, so to someone out there, chai and fry may be the pièce de résistance.

Whilst none of my pets have tea names (Shona, Scaramouche, Lily, Skyla and Amba) most of my teapots have names.
Cyril is small and made of glass
Clarence is medium sized, rectangular with a Chinese Willow Pattern
Freddie is a porcelain square pot with “A Day at the Races” and horse riding scenes.
Arthur is round with flowers on a beige base
And my purple Japanese style pot, with brown flowers on it and two matching cups, is yet to be named.

Update: The Purple teapot has been christened “Jasmine”. Turns ouit it had a sticker on the bottom

You have Japanese style teaware but don’t like Japanese tea? Interesting.:)

Also love fishing but don’t eat fish. Just a mass of contradictions.

Randomly came across this! Happy I did! My French Bulldog is called Sencha! : )

It is always interesting when people ask me what Sencha means or why I chose that name. I get to go on a tea and pet spiel, two of my favorite topics at once!
