Homemade Instant Tea

I don’t like the idea of buying instant tea in a jar any more than I do leaf tea in a bag. Is there a way to make an instant tea out of my favorite loose leaf tea?

Homemade chai latte mix calls for instant tea- could I use this instead? It seems like it’d make a better cuppa.

How much would I use? Could I grind their chai spice mix and use that instead of all the spices separately? Again, how much should I use?

If you’re desperate, I live by a tea shop, Puripan Tea Garden, that has what I believe is instant tea – never actually bought it myself. I will give them the benefit of the doubt though – in my experience, they always have quality stuff. And all their tea, including the instant tea blend, comes in resealable, airtight packages.
The store is from Korea, and their California shop is the only one in the US, but I think they ship anywhere in the states. Unfortunately, you can’t order online – you actually have to call in.
