I LOVE HONEY!
Hubby had found an article talking about how grocery store honey really isn’t much honey anymore because of all the stuff that gets added to it. Since then I try and buy from local growers.

I enjoy honey, but I feel like it overpowers my tea most of the time. I’ll put it in chamomile, or another herbal if I’m sick.

Awesome. Until recently, I’d only ever had normal, joe schmoe honey (in a plastic bear or otherwise). Then I found some cream honey from a local apiary and tried that, and it was so. Freaking. Good. Now I’m realising that the world of honey is as diverse and complex as the world of tea, and I can’t wait to try different kinds. (My honey education will go a lot more slowly, though—boy is it expensive!)
Haha, yep. I’m pretty sure I bought a 16 oz jar of the orange blossom one for $6, and that was the same price as my 6 oz bottle from closer to home!
I use honey from local farms, usually a teaspoon full per cup. Or if the honey comes in one of those cute little plastic bears I give him one big squeeze. :)
I drink mine plain as it is, unless I’m suffering with a cold or a throat infection, in which case I find a spoonful of honey stirred into tea to be super soothing.

I know this post is old, but I wanted to add something. I recently found Acacia honey while shopping in the “gourmet foods” section at Marshall’s. I love it in tea because it is VERY mild. It only has a hint of floral honey flavor, so it doesn’t overpower the tea. And a little bit goes a long way for sweetening the tea. :)
