Adagio Tea Customer Service & Tea Kettles
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with adagio? I had purchased tea from them for a long time. Then I bought a “stainless steel” tea kettle from them and within a year it began to rust. I have tried to contact them countless times about it, but to no avail. I have used email and even Facebook, but my polite questions and comments get deleted from the wall within a couple of hours. Anyone else have any problems? With their kettles or their service? Any suggestions of what I should do? They don’t provide a number to call, so that is out of the options. Better yet, can anyone else recommend any electric tea kettles that I can pick the temperature at which the water is heated? I would like to get a new one, but do not want to purchase from adagio any more.Thanks in advance
Sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I order from Adagio all the time & I have always found their customer service reps to be wonderful. I would say to call their 800# & talk to a supervisor.
As for a kettle, I can’t offer any advice as I use a plain old tea kettle for the stovetop.
They have an 800 number?!? I have been searching high and low and could not find a number to call. This has really been my only time with poor customer service quality from them. My other experiences have been exceptional.
Wow! I just went to check out the site & I don’t see it any more. I know it was there at some point. I found this phone number for them…..(973) 253-7400. Give them a call. I can’t imagine they would not be willing to help.
The rusting is just below the spout on the inside of the Kettle. I emailed them and they said it was probably just scaling. I replied with this picture and they have yet to get back to me.

That’s no fun :( I haven’t had any rusting on mine- the only brown spots I have are on the inside bottom but that’s discoloring just from (what I assume) the high heat over time.
From what I can see in your pic- that definitely doesn’t look like scaling.
