Free Kati Tea Brewing System (Tea Forte)

Thank you for posting it! The Kati cups are so beautiful! It took me a while to struggle between birdsong and green leaves patterns. They are all so nice. I chose estate Darjeeling with the help of reviews on steepster, and chose the birdsong pattern finally :-)

I just placed exactly the same order as Gingko. I absolutely could not resist the Birdsong Kati cup. Apparently I have no willpower.

My extreme cheapness is stopping me from ordering this. I want the cup but I can’t figure out how much tea you get in one of those canisters. What exactly does 50 brews equal? It looks like all the tins are the same size, but you would need more of an herbal than a pure black to make a cup of tea, so it seems an inaccurate estimate..I feel uneasy purchasing an unknown amount of tea for $15..just my two cents. Has anyone tried their teas and can speak for their awesomeness?

I think I read somewhere that the tin size is 3.5 ounces.

I really want one but I don’t want the tea. Go figure! Every single tea I click on that sounds good doesn’t come in loose leaf :(

I feel the same way! And I hope the loose tea is not exactly the same as their bags since there were some reviews complaining of dust. The cups are pretty snazzy though, and I am looking for a nice mug as the paper cups at my work smell like Elmer’s glue. Totally agree that birdsong is the prettiest!

Just splurged on Steepster Tea of the Month subscription. SAYING I need to semi-retire the credit card from March (“I spent so much this month”), and then rationalizing that it’s an entirely new month now won’t work forever so I’m passing on this. But I will keep my eye out for more double-walled teaware. I have two double-walled borosilicate 14oz mugs but I’m just anticipating when I tap it just one too many times and just that little harder… Plus when there is a time limit, I am wont to go into a frenzy and buy entirely more than I intended (and it’s usually to get into free shipping bracket).

I caved, too. I got the green leaves pattern. I meant to order White Ginger Pear and ordered White Ambrosia instead. I sent an email to correct it if they could. Otherwise, I guess I like coconut, too!

It’s a great deal – $20 (including shipping) for what would usually cost $35… but still, I don’t know if I can justify buying more tea, especially with the end of the school year so close.
