I would love to try the Teavana Earl Grey Creme, since I’m always open to trying different earl grey. I would PM you but I think you have to follow me for me to send you a message…

Jillan do you want anything in return?

Small
Jillian said 2010-02-13 05:02:04 -0500

That’s alright, Hon. We just traded tea recently and you gave me a bunch of wonderful teas then (thanks so much for the Marco Polo, especially).

These are mostly just teas that I’m not super crazy about for one reason or another and I want to make a bit of space in my cupboard for new stuff. So I don’t mind giving this away ‘for free’ so to speak. :)

Ok, here’s my list of things I’d like to go:

These are all sample tins with a few spoons taken out of them
Adiago – White Cucumber x2
Adiago – Pumpkin Spice (taken)
Adiago – Artichoke green (taken)
Adiago – Fruit Medley (taken)

Red Berries Fruit Melange – SpecialTeas – enough for one cup only

If you’d like any of these, comment here or PM me, and we can work out a swap.

I can’t because you aren’t following me, but I’ll do a swap- email me at the address in my profile.

Erin said 2010-02-21 21:09:16 -0500

If nobody else has taken it, I’d take the Fruit Medley. If you’d prefer a swap, I have some stuff listed in a post below that’s up for grabs.

Sure – I’ll trade you for the cherry below!

Alright it’s a deal! I’ll PM you.

Would love to try the White Cucumber (that sounds delicious) and the Fruit Melange, if it’s still available.

I have a pouch of 52teas Malted Genmaicha that I’ve only taken a spoon and a half out of. It wasn’t really my thing, but I’m still learning to enjoy plain genmaicha, so I’m sure it’s just me (because 52teas is great). If anyone wants to do a swap that would be awesome. I’d offer it up for free but I’m a college student and y’know. Send a PM!

wombatgirl said 2010-02-18 21:39:29 -0500

I’d love to try it, but I don’t think I can send you a PM – I’d be up for a swap tho – definitely!

Here’s what I have that I’m trying to get rid of:

Adagio – White Pear [taken]
Adagio – Red Dragon (blend of Irish Breakfast, Ceylon Sonata & Earl Grey Bravo)[taken]
Adagio – Almond [taken]
Adagio – White Tangerine [taken]
Adagio – Peach [taken]
Adagio – Cherry [taken]

All of these (accept for the Red Dragon) are sample sizes with anywhere from 1-3 portions missing. I’m trying to get rid of these not because I dislike them (accept for White Pear, holy crap was that nasty), I just have teas that I like better. There’s no sense in them going to waste!

So just PM me with what you want – you can have all of them if you want, it’s first come first served – and tell me your address. But I won’t ship outside the USA, sorry…

Also, I’d be up for swapping any of these if you want. Once again, just PM me!

I can’t PM you because you aren’t following me, but I would love to try the red dragon (however much you want to send). If you PM me, I can give you my info. Thanks!

I’d really like to try the white tangerine and almond if nobody else claims them.

Hi Everyone I am new to Steepsters, what a great site! I am a big time tea lover!!!

I have a question that I have been thinking about:

Would anyone be interested in tea sold at the grocery store where you can mix and match flavours (kind of like Adiago tea). So my idea is you would buy the individual flavours you like (like blueberry, caramel, lemon, ect) and each cup of tea you could add which ever flavour bag you wanted. That way you wouldn’t get stuck with a big container of mixed flavours (like when you buy from Adiago).

Isn’t this question its own thread?

Small
Erin said 2010-02-21 21:49:28 -0500

@Cofftea – yes, I posted a reply to this same topic in a different thread earlier today.

Amanda, please try not to spam the boards. I think your question can be better answered in its own thread… it seems out of place here IMO.

Hello! I have some “take it away!!!” offerings! All from Upton and I have approx an ounce of each. You can read about them on the Upton site – I’m including their numbers for easy finding.

China Oolong Se Chung Z010 TAKEN
Formosa Amber Ooling TT55 TAKEN
Young Hyson ZG10 TAKEN
Formosa Oolong Fine Grade TT15 TAKEN
Dumbara Green Curls TC36 TAKEN
Formosa Jade Oolong TT86 TAKEN

None of them are bad – they are just more of a serviceable tea, and I’ve been lucky enough to get some really fantastic ones lately, so I thought I’d pass these on. You can PM me, but if you are unable to, you can email me j m a n n i AT u a r t s DOT e d u or reply here.

This is an awesome thread. I can’t believe people are so nice. It must be the tea that brings out the best in people :)

I think what is more telling is that either the large tins of tea are too expensive or too big or maybe tea companies need to create smaller taster packs at low prices for people to buy before bulk purchases. I know I am the only tea drinker in my house so a large tin can last months (sometimes to the detriment of the tea). Maybe we should start a movement?

What do we want:
“Small taster tea packs at reasonable prices”

When do we want it:
“Now! or at a time that is convenient”
