I have some lemongrass – quite a bit of it actually. A ziplock sandwich bag full.
I do not like lemongrass.
Would anyone like this for tea blending?
It is from San Francisco Herb Company.
I should also note – we do have pets. It is not like we have rubbed the lemongrass on the pets or anything but some people are extremely sensitive to pets so I wanted to mention it.
We do not smoke cigs but we do smoke hookah tobacco which is in fact tobacco but does not leave the smell that regular tobacco does whatsoever.
I think those I have traded with can vouch for my items not showing up smelling like stale ashtrays.
I can indeed vouch that none of her samples confused me as to whether they were samples or ashtrays.
Azz I had to laugh at the visual that rubbing lemongrass on your pets gave me. I can just imagine the time that would have been.
Indeed I chuckled writing it.
And thank you!
Yes – definitely no smoke smell from you, and I’m super sensitive. :)
We love you for your sensitivity Krystaleyn…oh wait, nvm lol
Shame you don’t like lemongrass. But glad you shared it. I just bought some to send home. You should try making lemongrass martinis with it, use ginger flavored sugar for a small kick.
Ah I quit drinking about oh geesh 3-4 years ago – no idea when but its been awhile.
Are you sure you don’t want MORE lemongrass? More Martinis for you! :)
I love lemongrass! It does have a but of a savory flavor but it’s easily ignorable. I’ve never tried this but I suspect it would add interesting flavor to soups. Maybe chicken soup or tomato. If you don’t want to try that, perhaps we could arrange a swap. :)
Hey there :) Good idea on the soup but I am more than happy to send it your way! PM me your mailing info and I will have it in the mail monday!
Lemongrass has found a new home :) Thanks everyone!
I love lemongrass to!! and I just bought a 50g bag of it not long ago, so that will last me a good long time… Thanks for the soup idea Mercuryhime :)
Azzrian: LOL on your disclaimer!! I’ve gotten absolutely no smokiness from your teas :)
