Question: Does anyone log their teas in their cupboard as they order them, instead of when they come into your home?
Secondly, just FYI, Kally Teas is offering 40% off all their loose leaf teas until the end of Labor Day. The coupon code is LABORTEA. I have no ownership in the company, just a customer. I tried to make an order today (embarrassing, considering all the orders I’ve posted lately) but there was a glitch in the checkout process. However, they were really responsive, they emailed me with their phone number, and I’m going to call and finish up the order tomorrow.
I think I am having the same issue with them. I tried to send them a message as well, but it isn’t letting me sent a contact form to them at all either. Are they letting you still get the discount even when ordering tomorrow? Maybe I will just give them a call in the morning…
I actually don’t log any teas unless we’re going to keep them in stock (except for a few of Frank’s blends that I’m leaving up there in case I ever decide I want to order a pound of it). Missy’s page is more of a ‘current’ page though, and I believe she doesn’t log them until we actually physically have them on hand.
I’ve been wanting to recreate Teavana’s Thai Tea blend for awhile now and I’ve got a coconut vanilla tea to do it, so I’m buying the other bits to try out and I’ve wanted tea from Simpson & Vail for forever.
Their prices are all cheaper on Amazon plus I had $4 of credit so the total is under $25 and I am a horrible person since I just said I wasn’t going to buy more…but by buying this I’ll finish up that jar!

That was the blend that first got me into a Teavana… only to find out they discontinued it!
We’re using 1 coconut, 2 vanilla, 2 vanilla/almond kangaroo. I’m pretty fond of it, but Missy thinks we need less coconut. So Next time we’re going to try 2/3 coconut, 3 vanilla, 2 vanilla/almond kangaroo.
Oh, and we’re using Burrough’s Brew from Serendipitea as the coconut, Colonille from Serendipitea as the vanilla, and Red Rocks from Tea Forte as the vanilla/almond rooibos.
It might need more almond though. Who knows.
I haven’t had it in awhile because I don’t want to drink it all, but I always felt the vanilla was strongest. Hopefully the coconut/vanilla I have isn’t too strong, haven’t tried it on its own yet (Della Terra Teas’ Coconut Trees & Vanilla Fields). So hopefully that with the vanilla rooibos will be good, I got the French vanilla because it said it was creamier. I wanted to try your formula, but I felt better just getting 2 oz of each for now. Also Amazon has both Serendipitea ones: Colonille is like $14 for 2 boxes but you can only buy one box of Burroughs Brew for $11. Figure that one out.
Darn it! My next subscribe and save shipment of that was next month!
I get an insane amount of Serendipitea tea two boxes at a time through subscribe and save. I had somehow missed the email that this one ran out.
Oh boooooo Amazon. I keep trying to pay with my store credit card that I got just to buy textbooks and I forgot to change it this time, so I’m waiting for it to take over a day to deny me. I should just change it but it’s far more amusing to see how slow Amazon is.
I was really tempted by it though, if only that one had still been 2, or at least the price would have been less steep compared. The one called San Jose sounds awesome too but I’m not sure I’m up for half a pound at once without trying it at this time. And then I’d end up with at least 3 more, since that’s how it always goes.
We’re inundated with samples at the moment, so we’re refraining from taking any more on :). PM Missy or me with your address, and we’ll send it along!
Bought some Earl Black from 52teas since it was on sale (5.99). I’m so hit or miss with oil of bergamot, so I’m curious to see if I’ll like this tea or not. It sounded so intriguing so I just had to give it a shot.

I had to cringe at $6.00 shipping, I am so used to ordering up for Free Shipping, but $49 worth of tea after 40% off would have left me with more new oz then I knew what to do with! Over all I’m pleased with the order.
I was so tempted, but I must de-stash first. I will be looking forward to your review on the caramel cocoa loco though. Sounds like it will be good!
