Another Red Leaf Matcha order.. yeah, sales are awesome!

Bavarian Cream Matcha
Size : Small
Flavor: Robust
Storage : Add Small Metal Tin Container (Holds up to 45g)
$17.48

Cookies & Cream Matcha
Size : Small
Matcha Quality: Black Matcha – YEAH!!!
Flavor: Robust
Storage : Add Small Metal Tin Container (Holds up to 45g)
$20.28

The Sugar Buster Matcha
Size : Small
Storage : Add Small Metal Tin Container (Holds up to 45g)
$19.98

Paid $9.76 after gift certificate. Free shipping

Was a bit of a battle of not use 100% of my gift cert but have ultra jacked up matcha, or add a 3rd matcha + drop cash. I added the 3rd matcha to the cart to see, and it gave me free shipping.

Bleh, I really wanna try their sticky rice tea candy thing. Next order maybe!

Would love to see how that Cookies & Cream Matcha tastes with the black matcha. If you’re interested, when you get it we could swap samples. I have some white cheesecake matcha if you’re interested.

same here… really want to hear about the black matcha with the cookies and cream. I’m tempted to do this myself but as i’ve just recently gotten in to matcha i’m also a little wary of branching out just yet haha

What is this sticky rice tea candy thing?

Small
Awkward Soul said 2012-09-07 14:14:50 -0400

gift baskets > Candy Tea http://www.redleaftea.com/gift-baskets/candy-shaped-tea.html There’s a couple flavours, of course I gravitated to the weirdest one. I wanna get it, but it seems like too much tea for me to try + price so I’ve procrastinated a 3rd time now on it. Next order maybe, lol!

For trades, I’ll see how the black matcha cookies and cream goes over – I’m worried it’ll be astringent!

I also used a certificate and paid a bit more for the second – but then I can do two more reviews and get two certificates and order MORE TEA. : )

I almost got black matcha for cookies and cream but for some reason went with white. Really no idea why, it sounds intriguing.

Sounds good! I have mint on the way as well I think it will be very refreshing! Would be so good with many other flavors! Especially white chocolate – is that one that is coming out eventually? I need to go look again at that list!

Small
DaisyChubb said 2012-09-07 21:59:21 -0400

Yes I agree!!! I’ve been wanting mint forever but keep going for the crazy flavours – it finally made its way into my cart :)

Small
Azzrian said 2012-09-07 22:01:37 -0400

You had to do it – before more crazy flavors come out! :)

Question about US people who order online from David’sTea. It says prices are in Canadian, so does that mean I will be charged a transaction fee? Or is the price I see the price I get?

Small
Amanda said 2012-09-07 23:45:27 -0400

During the checkout, the prices adjusted slightly to reflect american $, but i did see a fee come out of my bank in addition to the purchase total. It was called an ISA fee and it was like .32 cents or something

Small
Nik said 2012-09-08 07:25:48 -0400

That fee, btw, depends 100% on the financial institution. It’s not something that the merchant imposes.

lol….got that song running thru my head now, Azzrian, good thing I like that song. I love this site but sometimes viewing certain threads, or looking at people’s reviews, makes me twitchy and want to buy more tea!

Small
Azzrian said 2012-09-08 14:11:55 -0400

Haha sorry about that but at least you like the song. :)
Yeah I stay out of this thread when I am tea broke. I opened a can of worms creating it and boosted sales for the tea companies. They should send me a thank you letter HAHA

Small
Sil said 2012-09-08 14:24:15 -0400

Azz…forget a thank you letter…try free tea!

Azzrian said 2012-09-08 14:30:49 -0400

I am seriously in love with David’s blending. I was kinda used to “blends” being made to hide low quality of the tea, and I am very glad for someone to break this “rule” :)

Small
Sil said 2012-09-08 10:40:03 -0400

Seriously…so much for not spending any more mooney on tea until after vacation….still 3 weeks to go and i’ve placed like 5 orders. From Verdant:
