Bought Vintage TeaWorks’ White Tea Riesling last night b/c of free shipping.

Then I reached the 100 point mark on Adagio and ordered the Tardis blend and 3 oz of Candy Cane. Paid $7 for 7 oz of tea shipped, yay gift certificate.

Well I hope, because they claim the Tardis pouch is bigger on the inside but the shopping cart still said 6 oz….we’ll see.

I usually try to purchase from local businesses, so all of my purchases come from a lady in my town. Sub Rosa Tea purchase of the week is:

Coconut Truffle
2 oz for $8.00 (and a bonus 2 oz bag of Key Lime Ceylon FREE this week because I’m her FB fan) and free shipping for being a local.

I’d say I got a great deal.

Just received my order from Mountain Tea: a little Oriental Beauty white tip oolong cake. it’s so cute I hate the thought of prying it apart (but I fully intend to, of course!). The freebies are Four Seasons of Spring, Medium Roast Dong Ding Special Reserve, Green Jin Xuan and Black Pearl. Looking forward to exploring oolong teas.

This week I nabbed one of the Yixing teapots from Verdant! So excited to get it ahh! I’m trying to decide what tea to use it for :D
Also ordered 2 oz of the Ginger Sage Winter Spa blend, to try it plain and to mix with some others. Excited to try a purely herbal blend from Verdant!

Awesome grab! The Verdant tea-ware is pretty awesome! I found, as did others, that the Winter Spa Blend is a lot better when blended with black and/or puerh teas.

I love the tea-ware! I have to exercise restraint to try to not buy any more, although I will want a cup to go with the pot, and a tea animal..haha so many items! And yes, I’ve been reading the reviews for it, sounds like such a versatile tea :), I will try it as many ways as I can, for sure with the black and green teas, I don’t have too many puerhs currently.

I know what you mean, I bought the flower pattern cup. I almost bought the bull tea pet, but thankfully someone beat me to it. David posted on Facebook that he got more hand painted Jingdezhen tea-wares and will be putting them up next week, which is bad because those are my favorite!

Ahh yes I saw that today too! I was super close to getting the blue and yellow one the first time, it will take great willpower to not spend all my money on teaware! The flower cup you got looks gorgeous, I like the shape too :)

I grabbed a groupon for The Tea Smith 10 bucks for 20 of tea, I had not read the fine print – the groupon was only good in store but I called them and they were more than happy to take my groupon code over the phone and ship my teas! WOOT!
I got 2 ounce of each:
Blacksmith Blend
Blue Shadow
White Darjeeling
I can’t wait to try the white darjeeling! Their Blacksmith and Blue Shadow blends sound excellent as well.

Today I got to see one of the new Davids Tea stores here in San Francisco (Westfield center)! It’s small but has a nice tea wares inventory along with, of course, the tea wall. I wasn’t sure if they were doing a teavana-type approach at first because the lady helping me just starting grabbing TONS of stuff off the wall. But I think after all she was just really nice and excited. :) I ended up getting:

1oz Nepal black
1oz Korean Sejak
1/2oz Ginseng oolong

And for my brother-in-law (he loves dessert teas):
1oz Chocolate Chili Chai
1/2oz Love Tea #7

I’m sure I will be back again as there are a lot more teas they carry I’d like to try, but I’m trying to be at least somewhat budget conscious right now!

Lukcy! Hopefully one day there’ll be one near me and then I can try ALL THE TEAS. :)

I think they carry at least 5 more teas I want to try off the top of my head, I just need to drink my stash right now and save for Christmas!

I decided to get a couple advent gift sets from David’s Tea for friends for Christmas this year. So while I was ordering I just HAD to get some tea for myself:
50 grams each of
Red Velvet Cake
Oh Canada
Cookie Dough

Woohoo! It’s my first order from David’s Tea and I’m super excited to try these. Plus I have a feeling the advent calendars will be a big hit.
