So… I got caught up in the Black Friday/Cyber Monday tea purchasing madness. I was doing so well with resisting tea purchases until then!

Hugo Tea:
Morning’s Journey (1 tin)

Adagio Tea:
The Mind and the Heart
Natasha Romanoff
Irish Breakfast (sample x2)

Golden Moon Tea:
Coconut Pouchong (1 oz)
Honey Orchid (1 oz)
Irish Breakfast (sample)

Harney and Sons:
Eight at the Fort (8 oz, this is going to last a while)
SoHo Blend (4 oz)

Verdant:
Lao Tong Zhi 2011 Sheng Mini-Cake (1 cake)
Lao Tong Zhi Old Comrades 2011 Shu (1 brick)
Lao Tong Zhi Old Growth 2012 Sheng (1 oz)

For some reason, I didn’t think to order any matcha from Red Leaf Tea this time around… that’ll have to go on the list for my next tea shopping spree, whenever that is!

We hope you enjoy the Morning’s Journey. We are quite excited for your feedback. Thank you sincerely for your support.

I have $50.00 in totally found, not accounted for money, and I’m thinking of heading over to Upton.com :)

Those Chatsford tea pots look nice. Anyone have any experience with them?

Sherlock Blend (3oz blend in pouch)
Watson Blend (3oz blend in pouch)
The Mind and The Heart (3oz blend in pouch)
Reichenbach Recovery (3oz blend in pouch)

Valerie said

please let me know how you like them! I have bought four of Cara’s Doctor Who blends and I absolutely love them!

Shmiracles said

i almost bought the 9th doctor blend. but then decided to keep my shopping on the smaller side. i can’t buy EVERY tea EVER in the WORLD! i’ll probably venture into the doctor who tea’s after i make a dent in my recent purchases.

Valerie said

if i had a good way to package samples i’d send some your way! they really are amazing _

I have the Reichenbach Recovery and Sherlock blends. They’re great. RR reminds me of cookies or fruity pastries. Sherlock is a great morning tea, though it may take some getting used to, which matches his character in the show, heh.

I’m trying to decide whether to make an order with David’s Tea or not. I really like the look of their tea tins but I think I should order something to go inside them, too! :P

Shmiracles said

warning! once you start buying from davidstea you may likely develop a ‘problem’. if you are anything like me, you will start browsing their website and putting items in your shopping cart daily.

Valerie said

SO I HAVE HEARD. there is actually a davidstea here in vancouver (well, i’m not right in vancouver but i’m close enough) so maybe someday i will actually check out the store in person. :D saves on shipping, right?

Uniquity said

If you can get to a store, Davids is better in person – you can smell things and get a feel for the blends. Plus, you can buy smaller amounts and get MORE KINDS OF TEA! : )

I own way too many..

Valerie said

I think I will have to plan an outing! I think I get Saturday off this weekend so maybe I will brave the bus/Skytrain and head downtown!

Ugh, I wished I lived near a David’s Tea. They are always doing cool promotions, too.

Valerie!!! Did you go?

I did! It was awesome!!!!!!
