Shipping nearly doubled the cost :( So much love for the company on this site though,that I just couldn’t resist.
It turned out to be total disappoitment actually. I can’t really call this tea, the bases of all three are undiscernable and there’s too much flavoring for my taste. If anything, I’d recommend blends from Verdant. They are WAY better and never lose the taste of individual tea..

I placed my first Verdant Tea order. I had my first pu’erh recently and fell in love—I am still terrified to brew it wrong. I tried to restrain myself because my cupboard is full of tea but I have so little willpower that I am ashamed of myself.

This happens to me all the time! “Do I need more tea?” “No, definitely not, you don’t even have room for more tea!” “Welp, time to buy some more tea then.”
The only way I was able to logic myself into it was telling myself that I had to fill the space in the cupboard where the coffee used to be. It worked but I still feel the guilt.

I did a bad thing today..hehe, I took my mother to DAVIDsTEA with the intent of helping her purchase tea..which I did, as well as a Timolino for her..but of course, I had to get a few more, even though I was just there on the weekend. Sigh. Anyways, the new additions are:

And, I also decided my 2 year old Timolino needed an update, and as my mom said it was the color of the ocean I couldn’t resist the DAVIDsTEA Timolino in Robin Egg. Sigh. But I’m pleased I will have uncontaminated tea again hehe (no flavor overlap from the rubber)
Did you know that you can purchase just the Timolino top parts from the DT website?? WAY cheaper than a whole new mug!!!! (Not saying that having two would be a problem though!) I was thinking about getting a new lid for mine, as one day I left something other than a straight tea in there (probably a coffee latte of some sort), and the rubber lid went a bit moldy. Luckily, I got it cleaned up enough to use, but it is discoloured.
Really?? Hmm i thought I tried to find them on there a while ago but I couldn’t! I’ll have to look today :) yeah the one will be used for camping and things now at least haha take my tea everywhere!
