Yesterday I ordered from Della Terra for the first time and got to use the Valentine coupon! I got a “Custom Try Me Pack” which is the best idea EVER! I wish all tea companies offered this. Anyway I got Autumn Leaves, Lemon Chiffon, and Gingersnap because I was in desperate need of some caffeine free teas for the evenings, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake and S’mores just cos they sounded delish. I also got an ounce of Oatmeal Raisin Cookie. I blame T.C.! :)

I just got some lime chiffon as a sample and it was yummy! I also ordered some lemon chiffon, but I haven’t tried it yet.

@TC. It was a bit of a discussion through email, but they were not reluctant in the least, just very open about how unusual it is.
@alpha, considering I am used to cooking with (plain) matcha, and can drink my way through the 1-2 oz tins in a week or so (if I am not rationing like mad), we will see. I am guessing it will last about 2 months or so.
I could probably drink nothing but matcha and go through that much, but sadly my budget says otherwise!
Ah, this is alongside other teas, but yah, I hear you. I grew up with matcha always in the house, but still not drinking it often (actually, I grew up using matcha soley for cooking…genmai and sencha were for drinking…and my house never feels right unless I have all three, plus a mint and a jasmine on hand)
I swore no more tea orders for a while, but I think this one hardly counts!

Has anyone else ordered any of their new teas?
I bought their Shui Jin Gui oolong, and their two new puerhs but accidentally had it sent to my parents address rather than my own. but I did successfully order the Fujian Jasmine white tea and it’s good. I’m waiting for the tea of the month box to get here before I buy the two other new oolongs.
Cool! I don’t like jasmine, but I am interested in reading your take on their oolong and pu’erh. It’ll be interesting to compare notes
I’m more likely to write about the oolongs than the puerhs simply because I’m still feeling my way around puerhs and I much prefer oolongs. Also, the oolongs are in the package, so next weekend I might write something if I have time.
Okay, so I made another order. I’ve been really bad this month. :( I keep telling myself it’s for my birthday. How much birthday tea is too much when you’re buying it for yourself? Worst part is, I still haven’t tried all the samples I bought from Upton a few months ago, but now I went and bought MORE samples. Well, too late now! :D

As you may have gathered, I’m doing research on what kind of Earl Grey I like most. I have high hopes for the Sacher Blend. I also got a 125 packet of Poire Creme because I’ve had it before and know it’s good. I need more non-caf tea in my life! Which is why I picked up more rooibos samples. :) I like the sound of the Candied Almond. :) Can’t wait for this to arrive!
