I found some Diamond Jubliee Tea at Britts in Lawrence today. It looks like this and is bagged (sachet) – scroll down just a bit its in a blue tin – they also have red tins just like the blue one.
If anyone is interested I can grab some for you soon.
I think they were under 7.00 per tin.

Oh and wow never heard of this company before but they have a jubliee blend and SUCH pretty tins!! I want to order from this place for the tins alone!

Tea with dancing beasts on it?! I must find a way to possess this immediately.

That is what I was thinking!! Its AMAZING! I spent all my “extra” money today taking my lovely daughter out to dinner and getting bubble tea! The Greek food was AMAZING though and so worth the wonderful time with my girl. I do want this tin desperately though. SIGH

I know!!! We need to suck up to some English folks so maybe they’ll buy it (with reimbursement or equal exchange of course) and ship to us. :) Ch3rryprinc3ss said that shipping is cheaper if it isn’t sent ISF like I imagine F&M would do.

The Fortnum & Mason design is the one I so badly wanted when I was looking for Jubilee commemorative stuff. I have a desperate Jones for the teapot & teacup. Not enough to pay that much plus the shipping… yet.

Is the shipping to the US really bad? I didn’t even check.

Nicole said

A tin of the tea would cost $70 US. The shipping is 30 pounds. Twice as much as the tea. :)

There’s a few tins on eBay for slightly less, still about $50 with shipping though :(

Azzrian said

OMG! Nooooooooooo So what do you imagine it would cost for a Brit to send it to us?

Nicole said

No idea, really. Been awhile since I sent a package to Britain. Part of the cost is the exchange rate though. Even before shipping the tea is around $23. Which I have paid for tea before, but it was tea I knew was good. ;)

True but gorgeous tins are usually not cheap either.
