I was wondering if anyone has some helpful information on how one can learn to flavor tea leaves and dry herbs with essential oils & extracts? I have searched all over the web and only received minimal tips here and there… Any help with this is much appreciated.
This is an area in which I too plan to get involved in but only after I have throughly schooled myself on tea in general. One thing I would look out for is that scummy oil layer that sits on top of the tea like a lot of David’s tea seems to have. I would assume they are using EO’s for their flavoring.
Just be sure you are well educated in the different essential oils, as some are not good for consumption.
And of course get the good stuff but I assume you know plenty on EO’s since you are interested in using them in tea.
