I dunno if this has been mentioned… but I’ve noticed that searching for teas brings up different results with various browsers (I have Firefox and Explorer).
I was looking for Lichee Congou.
Also, I’ve been looking for an example of where one of my posts was eaten… and it happened before the upgrade, but Strawberry Chocolate Pu-erh from the Spice and Tea Exchange was one of them.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned before, but my account constantly repeats in messages. I don’t think it’s a browser issue, because it’s happened on both my iPad AND laptop. I’m not sure what causes it. But basically, it repeats the same sentence I just said, sometimes more than once. It happens in forum posts and tasting notes.

I’ve tried to edit it, delete it, redo it, etc. as many times as I can, but nothing works. Any ideas?

New bug! No postings updating onto my Steepster from anyone I follow!!!
No ticker on the explore tab
No updates on any tabs
Only Personal Messages and going to general steepster where you can read every complete posting works.

Yesterday I didn’t see updates and notices etc for at least 8 hours or more. Today (Monday notices didn’t work for about 2 or 3 hours)

Apart from not receiving emails or notices for followers or new messages, I seem to have lost the see more button on my home page, so I only get to see the most recent tasting notes!

Have you checked your spam folder? I know it’s at least sending email notices for discussions, since I got all of these.

Jason – they were not in my spam folder. And I wasn’t receiving any emails whatsoever, not for discussions, comments, messages… However, at around 9:45am, I seem to have received all of these missed messages (there were 65 unread emails in my inbox!). So not sure how/why they were being held up, but I have all the messages from yesterday now.

Hmm, we’ll have to check the mail server to see if anything is causing it to delay when sending out messages.

Jason, Steepster still pulls the order for a particular tea’s tasting notes by the likes and comments of the first review a person makes rather than from the review with most likes or comments by the same person. Is this on purpose or a bug?

I was just reminded by something that I wanted to ask this. I’m not sure if this is a bug related to the update or if it’s on purpose or if it’s something else completely different.

But it used to be, when you clicked the ‘report something’ button, or the feedback button at the bottom of the page, that you would get this little pop-up from getsatisfaction which could be filled out instead of being taken to getsatisfaction’s site. Now I just get taken to the GS site instead. I found the little pop-up much easier and handy when reporting a spam post or comment than email or going via the GS site proper.

Is it on purpose that the pop-up doesn’t appear anymore? I noticed this the other day when I saw a spammy comment.

That would be awesome. Last time I tried to email a spam report, gmail decided to just send it directly to the bin instead. O.o
