This falls under the heading of “you learn something new every day” and I thank you for this :)

Did not know the part about tea hindering absorption of other nutrients and protein etc. This will be very helpful.

Interesting article. The article states to avoid drinking tea prior to and after a meal. What about drinking tea during a meal? I’ve had Yumcha in Hong Kong, China, Japan, US, and this is a custom of eating (Dim Sum) while drinking lots of tea.

Yes, Dim Sum can be ate while drinking tea!

Hi Bart, I checked the link on your question about brewing green tea. Unfortunately, I couldn’t open it. It said: Nothing to see here… Maybe you can drop steepster a note!

Thank you for posting these precautions on tea drinking! Learned something new today.
Can you post something related to precautions on drinking tisanes, botanical, and other herbal teas?
(I figure other precautions apply since tisanes/botanical/herbal teas do not come from the same plant as black, white, green, or oolong do)

Thanks for the suggestion, and We will consider this to provide more information on different teas!
