So In Love...

… with tea!

I know we all talk about it on this site, me, too. But I just have to yell it.

I’ve been limited in what I can drink due to gastric bypass (I can only drink 1 full-caffeine cup of tea a day AFTER I drink 80 oz of water or very low caffeine/decaf the rest of the time), so it’s a big celebration when I can pick any tea I want out of my stash.

So I just wanna yell “I LOVE TEA!”.

Plus, I got my new tetsubin in the mail. It holds 24oz and is a black hob-nail design. So pretty. The infusing basket is huge in it!

I can understand your situation. Puerh is a medium caffeine tea, White and Macha are high. Most roasted tea’s are lower in caffeine such as Oolongs and Hojicha. Some blends like the natural ones from Verdant dilute the caffeine by blending tea with other ingredients. I’m allergic to Rooibos but many people drink this tea because it’s caffeine free. There are other herbal and fruit blends without caffeine. I know you have to avoid acid also, not just caffeine. Puerh is good for the stomach.
