Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the Starship Enterprise drinks Earl Grey… :)

From Wikipedia…
“He is frequently shown drinking Earl Grey tea and issuing his famous taglines “Engage” (when going to warp) and “Make it so” (when giving an order)."

Yep. He’s listed in the thread for TV characters.

We just had Moby swing by our lounge for a pot of Ceylon Silver Tips. His guest enjoyed our 1995 Menghai Pu-erh!

Well I know in No Doubt’s song “Hey Baby”, there’s a line, “I’m just sipping on chamomile.”

The Beatles loved tea, well duh, they’re English. Here’s a story Yoko said of how John took his tea: http://www.examiner.com/beatles-in-national/speaking-of-bagism-john-lennon-had-a-precise-way-of-brewing-tea-says-yoko-ono I know some company even makes a Beatles blend.

Gosh…celebrities that drink tea???? We have more of those than just about everyone else combined: Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Dustin Hoffman, Sharon Stone, Peter Sarsgard, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Jessica Alba, Selma Blair, Robin Williams, Larry King, Oprah Winfrey, Michelle Obama, Arnold Swarzenegger, Wolfgang Puck, Kim Kardashian, Katy Perry, Russel Brand…the list is nearly endless…but I guess our location is helpful.

ok…so I forgot a few…Bette Midler, Paul McCartney, Diane Carrol, Annie Lennox, Diane Warren, Jennifer Lopez, Paula Abdul, Ryan Seascrest, Priscilla Presley, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Uma Thurmen, Reese Witherspoon, Jimmy Kimmel, James Franco, Steven Spielberg…..so sorry about that.

Show off. :P

We need to talk to you about some wholesale biz. You should be offering our blends to all those celebs. I’ve got a really exciting (read: game-changing) wholesale program we are getting ready to launch for tea rooms across North America.

Just to add another celebrity name to the list, the brilliant singer/songwriter Gilbert O’Sullivan is well known for his love of tea. Apparently he said in a recent T.V interview on the B.B.C that he prefers “Assam” and then jokingly said “but the milk must go in first!”. To demonstrate his love of a “cuppa” even further he has a song on his new album “Gilbertville” entitled “Where Would We Be (Without Tea)”, which is quite amusing!
