So just to confirm it’s 2.99 per teabag, correct?

That is correct. Each teabag will yield 2-quarts of amazing iced tea. If you re-steep the teabag, you can get a full gallon. And the price does include shipping to the US.

Just a suggestion but it might be more attractive to me for half the tea that only makes a quart. You could bundle several $1.50 tea bags together in a pack (maybe 3?)

You will NOT be disappointed. These are seriously awesome. I sincerely believe these teas are going to make the big teabag brands look like they are pedaling sawdust. I did NOT cut any corners with these. They might cost a little more than the other guys, but they are WORTH it, even without the discount.

Umm what discount?

LOL. I know I’m a bit of a windbag sometimes, but you really have to read the post. You get 10% any order of $10 or more and 25% off any order of $25 or more. The totals and discounts apply only to the new iced teas, and they will automatically appear in your cart.

Ah gotcha :)

This sounds awesome. I might have to throw one of these in when I finally order something. Summertime is perfect for iced tea.

FYI, regarding the pricing, these are half-ounce teabags. If you purchase $25 or more and get the 25% discount, you are paying $2.2425 each, which comes to (drumroll please…) $8.97 for 2-ounces. So instead of paying $8.99 for 1.75oz of one of our regular black tea blends, you’re paying about the same for a little MORE tea in individual hand-packed teabags which are further individually hand-packed into foil-lined stay fresh pouches. I just wanted to point that out, since I’ve had a few people mention that on the face of it, it appears pricey. Incidentally, the tea I used for the flavored blends is a PREMIUM CTC Indian tea. I could have spent 1/4 (!) of what I did on some crap tea for these teabags, but that is NOT what we are about.

Good post!

Thanks. It’s such a bizzare juggling act, trying to make these affordable and profitable (if someone orders ONE teabag, I’m paying $1.56 just for POSTAGE) and let everyone choose what they want instead of bundling stuff together, AND work within the limitations of my website’s shopping cart. LOL. It can be quite a headache.

Managed to place a very small order. I HAD to get more of the cotton candy before it is gone PLEASE make it a permanent selection! And about out of Strawberry Zabagilone – it is a common request in trades :)
So I grabbed a Neapolitan iced as well. Wish it could have been more but at least it is a good try of it for now. :)

Slightly confused, is this a limited-time thing, or do you intend these to stick around? And if you intend them to stick around, are the flavours going to change?

Also, is the cotton candy one the same as the Cotton Candy you recently released, the rainbow sherbert the same as the rainbow sherbert black from earlier, etc., or just very similar with the same name?

Daniel: I don’t know for sure but I think that these are going to be slightly different, because for the iced teas … if they are anything like last year’s iced tea series, Frank uses a CTC Nilgiri base.

I suppose the plan at this point is to make these semi-permanent or essentially permanent unless they prove to be not worth the effort. I do intend to potentially add more flavors. Probably drawing again from some of our more popular flavors. My hope with these is really to introduce more of the tea drinking public to our teas—iced tea drinkers that don’t want to be bothered with loose tea. So I may go back to the well for some of these blends and draw from some of our successful blends (Strawberry Zabaglione, Cinnamon Roll, Coconut Cream Pie, maybe (even if it is a little early) Butterbeer…) So, these are based on some of our previous blends, but they are different, at least in their base tea. I hope that answers your questions.

I wish I had waited 1 day before I ordered & saw these to go with my order :(

The Neapolitan is amazing! I can’t find photos or descriptions on it though to list it here on Steepster!

Sorry. I JUST finished adding all of the SBTs blends to Steepster. I look forward to reading your tasting notes. :)
