So… J.K. Rowling’s first novel for adults is available for pre-order:

I’m still reading Stephen King’s 11/22/63 (never in my life have I taken so bleepin’ long to finish a book), but I just might have to put everything on hold for this.

The JKR book, I’m going to get that eventually. I’m not super interested in what I’ve heard of it being about, but I love the Harry Potter books and I want to see how she writes when writing for adults.

I just finished “Wasp” by Eric Frank Russell. Again. I reread this one at least once a year. It is entirely too much fun to pass up.

Haven’t read Proust but his In Search of Lost Time fascinates me greatly.

I love 1000 Years of Solitude…though there was a lot of referring to the family tree for me!

Just finished Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. Enjoyable but forgettable characters.

The Hero and the Crown was much better! It takes place before Blue Sword it and it was great :D I recommend that one :D also I recommend Beauty, Rose Daughter and Deerskin (3 of my absolute favourites) by Robin Mckinley

I’m working on Wuthering Heights, but having a hard time getting into it – doesn’t help that the beginning of the school year is an extremely busy and stressful time and I haven’t been reading as often as I would like.
