Tea & Books - What are you reading?
So… J.K. Rowling’s first novel for adults is available for pre-order:
I’m still reading Stephen King’s 11/22/63 (never in my life have I taken so bleepin’ long to finish a book), but I just might have to put everything on hold for this.
I just finished “Wasp” by Eric Frank Russell. Again. I reread this one at least once a year. It is entirely too much fun to pass up.
That sounds interesting!
Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Oolong eases the heebie jeebies.
Reading The Red Queen by Matt Ridley. Three cups of Alishan this morning.
Just finished Devil Said Bang by Richard Kadrey, and have now started Kingdom of Gods by NK Jemisin.
I’m thinking of tackling this http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/75460
Anyone read Proust?
After the disappointment of IQ84 I’m reading One Hundred Years of Solitude.
Just finished Blue Sword by Robin McKinley. Enjoyable but forgettable characters.
The Hero and the Crown was much better! It takes place before Blue Sword it and it was great :D I recommend that one :D also I recommend Beauty, Rose Daughter and Deerskin (3 of my absolute favourites) by Robin Mckinley
Oh good. I was planning on reading Hero and the Crown. :)
I just started “The Force of Wind”, book 3 of the Elemental Mysteries series by Elizabeth Hunter. This one starts in China!
