Juggling several, but pulled out one of my favorite comfort reads ever: “Coming Home” by Rosamunde Pilcher. Do not attempt to read without a blankie and cuppa. You can get lost in her lovely descriptions of households in and around the Cornish countryside.

“One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich” by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn… A novella describing a single day in a life of a prisoner in a soviet gulag.

A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin.

(Then I’ll be getting some other things from the library soon.)

Intensity by Dean Koontz. A friend is a big fan and I asked her to pick one for me to try out. This is my first book of the year and I am finding it slow so far. Dunno if it’s me, the book or the timing. Hoping the next one rocks my socks!

As for the tea pairing – my cat has spent the entirety of last night and today bundled up on me and impairing my movement. I am such a sucker. I have been steeping some Golden Monkey but not as much tea as going as I was hoping so far.

Just finished Lost by Gregory Macguire and I was a bit let down by it. If anyone uses good reads let me know and we can follow each others reading.

I have a bad habit of reading several books at a time during different periods of the year when I have time to read. :( or maybe :) ?
Right now I am reading:
NOS4A2 by Joe Hill
Secrets of the Wolves by Dorothy Hearst
Pu-erh Tea by Hong Li
Romance of Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong

I just finished “The Ultimate Guide to Chinese Tea” by Bret Hinsch a couple of weeks ago. That was a very, very good read. I will definitely be rereading it in the future. :)

For all of these, I usually find myself drinking a nice Chinese red tea or tieguanyin.
