Hi to all my fellow steepsters i’m a newcomer from canada in your community but really glad to have found a place full of people who like tea just like me :)

I have a weird question for you can matcha trigger seasonnal allergy ? Just got my first matcha today and not 10 minute after drinking it got a heavy allergy attack like all i did during the day was rolling in a field of flowers lol was the first time a tea will have done that to me and since matcha is the whole leaf i am curious if it just coincidence or not

Thank ! I would hate to be allergic lol beside the first weird impression of drinking grass it’s was not bad i will see after a second cup if i get the same reaction

I don’t think it’s the dangerous kind of allergy (like food allergy can be) at least i hope lol after the reaction i take my med and it goes away. Always got heavy allergy during summer so i bet it was just a weird coincidence
