The cheapest source

Hi, as the title says I’m looking for the cheapest tea source. I realize that for the most part you get what you pay for, but I’m on a tight budget and I simply want some pretty good (doesn’t have to be great) tea at a cheap price. Here’s one company that I found, but haven’t tried that offers some pretty reasonable prices with free shipping. http://www.nmteaco.com/ . I’ve also tried www.Iherb.com but their selection is limited. Any more suggestions would be appreciated :)

Upton Tea Imports has a huge selection and very reasonable prices. They are also generally rated very well.

See reviews for their teas here:

They sell a minimum of 4 oz, but Mountain Rose Herbs (http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/) is fairly inexpensive.

Check local health food stores, as well. Many have bulk teas that are pretty good at really inexpensive prices per ounce.

It depends on your definition on cheap.
For good pricing I would look to Adagio, and Verdant Tea’s clearance.

I agree! Adagio is best for budgets! Especially with samplers!

Adagio, definitely, although they can be hit or miss.

Adagio and Upton are both pretty cheap and good.

If you live somewhere with a Chinatown type area check for markets and tea shops, they can be a pretty cheap source of teas and teawares :)
