Tea & Movies, What are you watching?

Hopefully JasonCT will forgive the plagiarized topic title, but just thought it couldn’t be “asked” any better.

So here is the question, What tea are you drinking while watching some of your favorite movies?

One of our more enjoyable recent watched movies was “Get Low” starring Robert Duvall and Bill Murray. What an original storyline. We sipped on Sheng Green Pu Er.

Prince of Darkness or The Keep with Citron Green from Adagio – in about 10 mins….in the mood for some 80s horror….

Hammer type horror or Alien type? Dooooo like the oldies!

The Keep, 1983, Michael Mann directing with a young Ian McKellen and Scott Glenn. Nazis vs. monsters? Tangerine Dream doing the soundtrack, so it’s like a cross between a Hammer movie and Manhunter, with a bit of Last of the Mohicans.

Washed down with some Citron Green tea….

Oh, I just watched Richard II and Henry IV Pt 1 – the Shakespeare nerd in me doesn’t care that it’s summer! And I’m eagerly awaiting the broadcasts of Henry Pt 2 and Henry V :)

But tonight I think I’m going to make a peachy oolong and watch Decoy Bride or some other fluffy movie like that~

Just finished watching The Decoy Bride, oh David Tennant in those pants!

Mmm, David Tennant.

If I fix a tea tray and want something to watch while I sip, I usually go online and sit through a couple episodes of any of my favorite vintage Masterpiece Theater programs. Just finished Duchess of Duke Street, and now have The Irish RM bookmarked, ready for episode 2.

My favorite movie lately has been Woody Allen’s, Midnight in Paris, I think I’ve watched it 10 times or whenever I come across it while channel surfing. He has a new one just out in theaters To Rome,With Love.

Not a movie but so in love with it.
Three words.

BIG BANG THEORY
The science geek in me needed that program. ;0)

Great show. Sad thing is I actually get most of the jokes before they explain them.

Me too and my husband just looks at me. Lol

Great show, sadly I need some explanations for some of the jokes as I am not very savvy in the science department.

mrawlins2, you made me Google 52teas’ Butterbeer – too bad they are sold out. Sounds as tho it was a limited edition and only for a week? in June. :( 1.75oz. isn’t a whole lot either. Any idea if it will return?

It was a really popular blend that sold out fast. Frank @52teas hinted that it may be reblended in a couple of weeks whenever he gets the materials needed again.

Ok, I did a little more reading on their site. Once a blend is gone – it’s gone!

He sometimes will reblend and make them “revived” or “permanent”. I don’t know on what it depends, but sometimes they do return! Frank can probably tell us more. Oh Fraaaaaankkkkkkkkkkkk?

Bright and early this morning my boyfriend put it on The Hangover 2 while I sipped on some Bananas Foster from 52Teas. What a great movie to start the day with, ha!
