Newleaf Glass Teapot
Hi everyone! I would like to buy a glass teapot and I was wondering if anyone has bought this the Forlife New Leaf glass teapot? Any opinions/reviews would be very helpful. Thanks! Here’s the link: http://www.harney.com/Details.cfm?ProdID=3997&category=0&secondary=921I like the pot I have from ForLife. I do not own the glass model, but I do not like using glass. Really, they are a pretty quality company.
Sorry no one has experience with the model you are looking at. The dripless spout is pretty good. I find it to be more efficient than a typical spout. It does drip a little though.
Let me know your experience, if you get it. I would be interested to hear if it measures up.
I don’t have the glass one, either. However, even if the glass pot only lasted for a year or so, the infuser will last for many years…..
Yes, I definitely agree the infuser looks like it is made of great quality! It’s mostly made of stainless steel.
I do have two ceramic teapots and two ceramic infuser mugs from ForLife, and the infusers are great. I would probably get one of these pots, too, if it was not so close to other volume vessels that I have from them.
I am madly in lust with the FORLIFE Curve tall tea mug I purchased a while back. I use it exclusively now at work, and I drink a lot of tea at work. The infuser is great and cleans easily and the ceramic has a great feel to it. Best off, I have to microwave water at work and it somehow never overheats the handle. I am buying a few more to have at home next pay period. Not sure about the glass though.
I have the newleaf teapot. I love it. It never drips on me, the strainer is awesome, and I love the top. It has a rubber grommet kind of thing to fit into the pot – you can turn it upside down and the little strainer sits in that so you don’t have to put a leaky strainer on the counter.
The only minor complaint I can make is that sometimes the lid is a little loose fitting when the strainer isn’t in the pot. It’s not a huge deal – it’s not glass so it’s not like it would break if it fell out or anything (it only ever fell out the one time, I’m just a little careful about putting a finger on it if it seems loose).
