This looks really convenient, I’ve been looking for something to use for making tea at work. I really like those wide-based teacups as well, might have to treat myself on payday :)

It might help better if you had a demonstration video for people to see how it works. Sometimes a visual helps much better then just words on a webpage. smiles

@Lynxiegrl – thanks, I’m working on that now. It’s not exactly clear from the photos how it works I guess :)

Looks interesting, like a more sophisicated version of my iced tea maker from last summer – I just chucked all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, shook and let the tea steep for the required time! This is much prettier, and more travel-friendly. Can you ice tea in it?

@TassieTeaGirl – I haven’t actually tried that yet, but I can’t see why not. It’s not huge, but you’d be able to make a nice iced tea for 1 in it.

WET BLANKET ALERT:
I have tried so many on the go or quick steep devices. I have never found a substitute for making good tea.

I’ve tried tumblers…they stink. (leak around seals, lids that won’t remove due to heat created pressure, etc.)

Why is this product any better? If it is not any better than using a pot with mesh, why would I even think about it?

Maybe I’m just a tired cynic today, but I am tired of getting excited over products that just let me down.

A video demonstration would be very helpful. I was wondering about how you can be precise with steeping times when you shake back and forth.
