Online Games and Tea
I’ve got re-sucked into Adventure Quest recently. Haven’t played that in two years so there was SO much new stuff. I couldn’t remember what I had done and what I hadn’t done or anything so I decided it was easier to just create a new character and start over. :) Unfortunately my friend Vita isn’t around on messenger very often any more to play with me. It’s not multi-player but we would chat a lot while each playing about the things we wanted and the monsters we were fighting and most importantly the race to get to the next level first. :) Eventually we introduced so many abbreviations and inside jokes and things most of our messages appeared to be in code. :p

I too know that feeling of coming back to a game after a bunch of up dates. Same thing happened to me with Minecraft. Apparently I can now enchant things and have magic stuff. Also cats.

I’ve started playing LA Noire which really lends itself to tea time with the old school detective action. I like to sip while interviewing people and judging whether they’re lying or not. :)
That game is amazing! :) I found myself drinking a lot of strong black tea’s whilst playing that.
Anyone have any thoughts on the new TES-MMO coming out soon.
My guild now has a 50slot guild vault and I have 2 guild vault transports ready for activation :D I’m working on the armorsmith and weaponsmith contracts so that we can have armor and weapons made with the guild emblem :D
Does anyone still play Battlefield 1943 on your Xbox?

I’ve been playing a lot of Glitch lately. It’s a free and cute MMO that’s browser based and intended for people 14+ (due to all the innuendo ). It’s casual enough that you can easily sip away while you play.
If I wasn’t so busy with a 6mo, I’d be playing Mass Effect 3, Tropico 4, and Assassin’s Creed 3 :)
A friend sent me a scroll of resurrection for WoW so I’m going to be playing it a bit this week for the first time in almost a year! The only bummer is it doesn’t look like I can check out the 85-90 content on the free trial.
There are a bunch of changes heh. Any time you’re curious about them just holler. While its nice that they’ve made changes to accommodate the more casual player it means that there are a lot of dailies to be doing that makes it less fun if you’re trying to get gear for raiding. But the new zones, instances are getting back to being interesting again IMO. :)
I was really confused by the talents window when I opened it. And then my friends said “just pick anything” and I went what the…still have no idea how someone picks a spec in the new system since I was on my 85 characters!
I don’t have anywhere near enough time to raid anymore but I may stick around for a bit to check out the new content, since my friends and guildies seem to be enjoying it.
Well I hope your having fun with WoW! Be sure to let us know what the new content is like :D (not that I’ll go back but I am curious)

I actually barely used my trial before it expired! I just had way too much homework to do that week. Rayn and I have been checking out the new content on Secret World the last few days.

Last night my good friend (and long time guildie) Michael gifted me a copy of Mists of Pandaria, and another guildie gifted me game time. Do I have the coolest guild/friends ever or what? :) So it looks like I’ll be back to Pandaland after all!
[snoopydance] I know that depending on server/schedule we may not play together, but I’m always happy to hear of a return to WoW. =) Last night I played with my friend/guildie. She’s been playing a lot longer than I, something like 5-6 years compared to my 2. But she hadn’t gotten to try the new battle pet stuff yet, so I got to introduce her to that. And now she’s hooked like me. =P Anyway, welcome back!

I might make a panda, especially once I hit winter break (late December to most of January for me). I’m pretty excited to check out the 85-90 content too! My guild on Feathermoon is the nicest group of folks and I’ve stayed friends with a lot of them even on hiatus from the game.
My server and guild are all I’ve ever known. It might be fun to branch out a bit. =)
If nothing else there’s always cross realm stuff too! I’m on Elune alliance side and I have a horder toon on some other toon in terms of active characters that i’m playing at the moment. My battle tag# is Sil#1548 If anyone wants to poke me :)
I spent Vanilla and BC on Darkspear, a pvp server. Once Wotlk came out I got really bored with the game, took a break, and then decided to come back and check out an RP server (Feathermoon). Been there ever since! I’m not familiar with the battle tag thing (it’s been awhile), but I think I can be friended by adding katerdee@gmail.com to your friends list.

Yay new friends! I’m about to work on a philosophy paper but may be on for a bit later tonight.
