Handmade Teas Anyone?
Giving them a little plug. So what does everyone think of them? Not seeing many reviews for them.
Throwing in some photos. http://minus.com/mbpT3IrhNf/3g
I’ve tried two of them so far and LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They are packaged and promoted LOVELY! I also LOVE the little tins with each ingredient in them! Genius!
I plan to try them, I’m just going to be out of town a lot this month so it didn’t make sense to start a subscription right away.
FYI – Use the code “steepster” for 15% off (they are offering it since Steepster has put their monthly club on hiatus)
I have never heard of them before! Must go check it out!
Edit: Went to website but couldn’t find out answers to some questions I had… How many teas do you get per month? 1? And how much of the tea(s) do you get?
On the page to sign up it says “A unique small-batch tea blend (~3oz) which may never be made again!” so I guess just one a month.
Also I just realized it probably made sense to also look on here: http://steepster.com/companies/handmade-tea
You get small tins to see the individual ingredients in the tea too.
Also, it’s worth noting that you get a small tin of each individual ingredient for tasting and/or adding to your blend. That’s pretty neat.
Thanks. I think I am too impatient lately about finding what I want to know online!
No problem, it was kind of hidden in there. I was wondering it too.
Thanks for answering, Amanda and Rachel! Yep, I create a new blend every month that goes out the first week. I do a tasting video for each tea, feel free to check out the past videos: http://www.youtube.com/user/handmadetea
As Rachel mentioned, signup up with the coupon code ‘steepster’ and save 15% on the 1st month – https://handmadetea.com/subscribe.php
Let me know if you have any other questions at all! caleb@handmadetea.com

Thanks for piping in. Is there any way to get in on the blends that were missed from the previous months?
Hey Rachel, I don’t have a system for doing that yet. Right now I’m creating a limited amount of tins based on the amount of customers that month. I’m working on a ‘General Store’ to offer a few popular blends again but I’m not sure when that will launch yet.
I’ll send you a message on Steepster when I have some of the previous blends in stock. For now, it’s all the excitement and mystery of the monthly subscription :)
Sounds like a plan. I’m eager to try some of them. I’ll keep an eye out on my inbox.
I am so tempted after looking around a bit more. I know I shouldn’t though but want want want.
LOL. Isn’t this how it always goes? We are better not knowing about any sales or tea services that exist, because then we wonder how we can’t live without it.. Ignorance is bliss!
I know right, I keep telling myself no, but then I’m like, but it’s something that might not ever exist again, and look at the pretty packaging.
I knooooow. I’m really bad with “you can only get this now and it will never exist again.” At least with somethings – like sales – I can talk myself out of it by saying, “Well I can just get it later for a higher price.” That doesn’t usually work, but occasionally it does. Unless it’s a really really good sale (like that 50% off Caraway Tea)
Ricky, you’re awesome! Thanks so much for posting the pictures of Yerbaberry Mint, they look great!
Ohhhhhhhhhh I want this so bad! Why why why is tea so addicting?!?!
