Tea of the Month Clubs?

I was asked to suggest tea places I enjoy, for future Christmas/birthday gifts. Specifically, I was asked about the tea of the month style subscriptions. I have a few tea places I enjoy, but they mostly don’t seem to provide subscriptions. So I wanted to ask the lovely people of Steepster, what are some tea subscriptions that you have had good experience with and could recommend?

Aloha Emilie, I am launching a direct-from-grower tea of every other month program on Indiegogo. We will source teas direct from the grower and tell you their stories. You can contribute to our Indiegogo campaign which ends on July 31, 2012 to get discounts to our service which is called Global Tea Taster. Our first shipment will go out next week and will highlight Dragon Well teas from independent growers in the West Lake region of the East Coast of China. The Tea House has a few tea of the month options-including some where you can pick your own teas of the month: http://theteahouse.com/Tea-of-The-Month-Club/c22/index.html?osCsid=di7fadlsapuc57daehba0o6425

I’ve never used it, though. However, I’ve been thinking about it as people really don’t know what type of teas to buy for me.

I joined 52teas’ tea of the month program for a quarter last year (into this one). It saves you money if you find yourself wanting the weekly blends every week, but it is a lot of tea for a month at a time.

I’ve also considered Verdant Teas’ because I like the idea of it having a theme each month.

I took part in Verdant Teas’ tea of the month for six months and loved it…sadly it went by too quickly! I’ll probably get it again if David offers another amazing deal around Black Friday again.
