Verdant Tea Looking for Feedback and Guidance. Take our Survey, Get a Coupon.
I took the survey but I don’t need the coupon code. Is it possible for me to give it to someone else? And if so, who wants it?
Go for it! Thanks for asking. The surveys are totally anonymous so the codes aren’t tied to emails or anything. I appreciate you taking the time to give us feedback.
I have completed the survey. Many thanks for the great discount coupon!
I may use the coupon, as with it your cheapest teas are just barely within my budget. Normally, they are too pricey for my limited means.
Having said all of that, I am very impressed with the service and responses that David has given here on Steepster, and on Reddit. In addition, the free shipping on larger orders is another great bonus.
Best wishes,
sherubtse
Many Thanks sherubste! I appreciate your feedback. The survey has been so helpful to us.
Am I the only person who is unable to rank the importance of customer service features/website features? I click on one of them, and they all get labeled 1-5 or 1-6 in descending order, which is not my choice of order.
I submitted my survey anyhow, so you probably want to remove my set of numbers from the data you collect, as they’re inaccurate :( Sorry :(
Hey Kittena,
I had a bit of trouble too. The survey software that we used makes it look like you are supposed to pick the numbers of rank from a dropdown, but actually you click and drag them to the position you want. Sorry it wasn’t super clear. Next time we do a survey I will try to make it easier.
Thanks for the submission!
i also thought some of the questions were not done properly /formatted properly.
also, i have a survey coupon i dont plan on using if anyone plans to make multiple orders(not sure when they expire)
I’ll take it if no one else has. I’ve now got my mom into Verdant teas!
Nice going invader zim. Heh get the mom involved so you can swap teas with her too ;)
I got a few family members involved! Mom, sister, mother-in-law, sister-in-law, some nieces! Most of them drink tea bags though, they only drink loose leaf if I make it for them, except for the sister, she drinks loose leaf. It’s a family affair!
Same here, my husband thinks it tastes like hot water. Except my matcha, the most expensive tea and he loves it, especially when I make it into a cold latte, smh.
You know I just thought of something for you David if you’re interested. You have all these wonderful teas and blends, but I have not seen any white tea blends. I thought it would be interesting to see one. Maybe two of them, one with a little spice in it (like a white chai blend) and one that’s a little floral and minty.
Intriguing…
Thanks Invader Zim. I am really looking for a white peony and traditional silver needle white that I can get into. When I find something, you will be sure that I will be playing with it for blends.
White tea chai would be a good challenge too.
Thank you so much to everyone who has submitted survey responses so far. We spent days going over all the incredible feedback you were kind enough to provide. The result of our examination is a master plan that will refine and improve everything we are doing, step by step. It gives us lots of great ideas moving forward.
The first one was the fastest to implement. We saw a lot of people expressing the wish to have access to a greater variety of teas without making a huge investment. Understandably, it is often nice to try a small quantity before deciding what to stock up on. Accessibility is a big part of our goal as a business and cultural venture. As a result, we realized that offering 7g sample of every tea we carry would allow a lot more freedom and lower the barriers to trying what our friends in China send us.
Therefore, we are excited to introduce the 7g option today! We hope everyone takes advantage of it, building your own sample packs, or adding on a tea that you have been curious about to an order.
Here are the details: http://verdanttea.com/sample-size-now-available-for-all-teas/
More improvements will keep getting rolled out going forward. I am so grateful to all of you for your help.
I have to thank you for adding smaller sizes to your website. I placed an order right away after seeing that this size option was added! :) I look forward to trying all of the tea I ordered. Thank you!
Hey David. Slightly off-topic, but not sure where else to post it. Your podcast feed isn’t working for me anymore (at least through iTunes). It only shows me the first 2 episodes, but when I went to your site I saw that there were actually 3 more episodes. I can listen to them just fine on the website, but I’d really like to download them to iPhone for listening on the go.
Any idea what happened?
Hey Rachel,
Thanks for the reminder on that. The podcasts have to be submitted separately to iTunes. I had been meaning to get back on top of that submission, but keep getting sidetracked by new sourcing projects etc. I will try to take care of that tomorrow, and update when it is working. Best Wishes,
David
Ugh. You mean you have to submit the podcasts separately every time you update? Isn’t Apple supposed to be “set it and forget it”?
Anyway, thanks for letting me know.
Yeah, It isn’t a huge deal, but you do have to upload podcasts separately to the site and to the feed that Apple scans to get new files. I just added the last three podcasts. I am hoping for another one next week on a legend I just learned about the water of Laoshan Village. Should be fun. Anyways, check and refresh your iTunes feed, and you should see the most recent podcasts now.
