Afraid I'll end up on TV
I hope I don’t end up as an episode in one of the Discovery Channel shows about people who aren’t quite living in the same world as ‘normal’ people and need interventions.
I came home from a quick trip to town this morning only to find a note in the mailbox where I missed signing for my latest package from the other side of the planet. sigh. Now I have to wait until Monday evening to pick it up at the post office. NOOOOOOOOOO! Its all I can think about. Worse, I am not even sure which one it is…
Friday, I pilferred a 3-drawer filing cabinet for my office. In the top pencil drawer I put spoons, assorted measuring, and packaging stuff. In the bottom drawer I put cups and filters. In the middle drawer I moved all my work stash to one location. My drawer overflows :)
I asked a co-worker if I needed help. He said, probably, but I’m not doing anything about it. Why take the chance and mess up having access to your tea any time I want it.
My greatest hope is if they ever do a Tea Hoarders show is that by the time they work through the rest of the more ‘obsessed’ (that would be many of you – no offense) the show will get cancelled first.
Haha. Great!! At least it is a healthy obsession!!
Never worry, I’ll help you hide your tea if a Tea Hoarder show happens upon you. :D
Anny is right at least its healthy! Don’t worry KS our lips are sealed! The evil Tea Hoarder show men shall never know!
You’re safe. If co-workers come bum leaves from your stash, they won’t rat you out to network execs.
Collection Intervention could probably feature a lot of us on their show-except they seem to focus on people with pop culture collections:

When I had tea with hubby tonight, he looked over at my wooden tea chest and asked if there was still tea in it. I said yes. He looked at a stack of four H&S sachet tins and asked if they had tea in them. I said yes. He nodded at the four drawer chest the tins were sitting on and asked if there was tea in the drawers. I told him it was none of his business what was in my drawers.
Good thing we didn’t make it Tin Roof Teas today, I guess! My 50 Harney tins are on display in the kitchen, so I know he was mentally tallying those in, and all my Teavivre pouches. OY!
