What does linking an account to Twitter do?

I linked my twitter (@mashellebelle) to my Steepster, but I don’t see anything either on my profile or autoposts to the account. Is there any benefit to doing this?

Now that you mention it – it doesn’t seem to be posting things on my twitter anymore. It used to automatically post, here’s an example:

But now that I look at my recent posts, it hasn’t posted in over a month!

When they did the major update a while back the twitter linking was disabled.

Aha! I checked, and it lets me log in through the twitter button now, but I guess that’s all it does. Oh well.

It used to tweet every review you left here on Steepster (if you were linked)

after I make a tea log, there’s buttons on the right that let you facebook or tweet it. I hit that and it takes you over to twitter with the link to your tealog already in the box. I guess it’s nice because if you tealog a lot it’s not so flooding on twitter, but also meh ya have to do an extra step.

What’s your Klout score? I’ll bet it’s a bit lower now that the twitter linkage is down!
