Cool videos – very professional – would like to see more of the product. Good work.

I’m working on a new contest rules for best home made video done by customers on how easy it is to make MATCHAccino.
Any takers?
What kind of reward would you suggest?
Anyone?

haha, im getting ideas!

the commercial is cool…a bit slow but if you add some pix like Azz suggested and/or add some more words to fill the time gap between scenes then it will look like it is going faster and keep the audience more engaged (maybe a running list of the 100 flavors to whet the appetite) haha, i could be a marketing agent!

commercials usually last 30sec but nonetheless effective

“liked” the vid!

I just watched your promotional videos and I love them…And yes, great name! 58 calories??? I thought there were between 150-200. I’ll have to go back and read. I look forward to sampling, thank you!!!!

Small
Red Leaf Tea said 2013-03-17 13:29:11 -0400

The mix is only 58 calorie. When you add milk, the total count goes up to more… :-)

teapot1 said 2013-03-17 13:39:32 -0400

Thanks, that’s what I assumed!

Excellent! As a cancer survivor, I love seeing the part about nothing artificial, and since my hubby and I both react to MSG (he gets a migraine, I get high and then fall asleep!) I love that there is no MSG. I need to be able to trust the companies I buy from! Thanks!

Seeing as this is a matcha latte mix what are the preparation instructions with it? how much water? milk? etc instructions for use with half of each package (serving size=2) should we use?

Small
Red Leaf Tea said 2013-03-18 17:20:53 -0400

I have the letter attached to the samples, but since your package went early I did not have it ready. Can you please email me at info@redleaftea.com and I’ll send you copy of this letter?

Got mine today. Getting ready for #1 now.

Small
Azzrian said 2013-03-21 13:57:29 -0400

Sample #1 Rocked! Really surprising! Its like the way I usually make my matcha without needing to add anything but my regular almond milk (unflavored) I loved it!

Small
Frolic said 2013-03-21 14:13:47 -0400

I’m drinking #1 cold right now and OMG it’s amazing. definitely a dessert like drink but even though I rarely sweeten matcha myself i’m loving it. I’m going to be super hyper today if I’m good and taste all 4 back to back like I’m suposed to!

Small
Azzrian said 2013-03-21 14:14:51 -0400

Sample #2 was good, very good, I mean I would drink it all day long good BUT I think I liked #1 better. But then I began to wonder if that was only because it was first, it was so yummy and I was so happy to have a matcha latte. I will need to try both of them again, then go on to the next two.
Okay so if I die today, please alert my family and the paramedics that I have matcha overload!

Small
Azzrian said 2013-03-21 14:17:38 -0400

Okay maybe I will go with first impression like Frolic said we are supposed to try them back to back. So far then I like #1 best.

Small
Azzrian said 2013-03-21 15:00:47 -0400

Dang this is going to be REALLY difficult! I have to say – having tried 1-3 thus far, really I would be happy with any of them. I think 3 has a bit more of a matcha flavor to it – more depth to the flavor than the other two – #1 is sweeter, more dessert like, #2 had a little bit of a chemical like smell but only in the sniff and not in the sip. I think people who LOVE matcha flavor would prefer 3 but those who like sweet would prefer 1 more. 3 has a little bit of an after-taste from the sweet however, and 1 does not. UGGGG still deciding and need to try #4

Small
Red Leaf Tea said 2013-03-21 15:04:00 -0400

While it’s preferable to have you taste all 4 samples at the same time to see the difference, you do NOT have to drink it all the way to the bottom :-). This is where having friends over comes in handy LOL.

Honestly – lol I have sucked every one of them down so fast if I did have friends over they would be looking at an empty cup!
These are really quite good!

Small
Azzrian said 2013-03-21 15:38:15 -0400
  1. 4 flavor wise was a good blend of 1 and 3 however still getting a slightly sticky aftertaste in the sweet factor. I think overall – although I still have the hot latte to sample – I prefer #1 then #3 with a VERY close #4 following. #2 was my least favorite.

I did a cold sampling this morning using cold filtered water. I only have coconut/almond milk on hand and I didn’t want the coconut to muddle the flavors…Cold – I’m going in this order most to least favored:3,2,4,1. Although I could easily say:3,4,2,1. For me 1 had the least body and flavor. I will try the hot later today. And yes, I will follow the link to do the reviews when I’m done…

Small
Azzrian said 2013-03-22 17:35:44 -0400

Well you and I at least agree that 2 and 4 were least favorite! LOL the issue then between us is we had total opposite experience on 1 but we do both agree 3 is very good! :) Can’t wait to get other’s impressions on all of them.
Wait I got that wrong you like 2 as well.
Ugggg
This has to be impossible for Robert!

Small
teapot1 said 2013-03-22 17:58:38 -0400

I kept tasting 1 because I saw your notes last night. I was prepared to have that be my favorite…It will be interesting when I do the hot tasting. Also interesting to see others’ thoughts. It must be SO difficult for him to seal the deal on a decision like this.

Small
Red Leaf Tea said 2013-03-22 18:13:10 -0400

Give me $5 and your favorite will be the deciding voice. See not so difficult after all. LOL
PS. As soon as this test is done, I will have another one for light version with natural Stevia to lower the calories even more

Oh, the torment! Mine still hasn’t arrived and now I have to wait for Monday! It has been IN MY STATE for three days and they can’t get it to me??? (Actually, for the most part I think our postal service rocks and is very reliable, but I am throwing a “waiting for new tea” hissy fit.
